I think Casey doesn't realize the leeway juries have in civil trials. This isn't about criminal charges and protecting Casey's rights. This is about whether a jury is going to believe she lied and wasted the time and resources of TES. And I don't think there are same rules of things being allowed or not. Tim is going to come out all guns blazing on this one. And Casey is going to stick to the 5th and her lies. Now who is going to be more believable? She either knows this is lost and doesn't care because she never intends to pay a dime, or she really thinks she's going to get another Pinellas 12. Well guess what, Casey, this time, not liking you is going to matter A LOT. There is no prosecution having to prove anything this time around. It's going to be your lies against the truth, and you are going to LOSE.

I find it laughable that she lied on question 2. She is totally back to her old ways of thinking the lies will carry her though with no consequences. I hope this does go to trial, and I can't wait to see the fisties when she loses this time!!!!

I am thinking you are right - has this been posed in the lawyer thread that someone can put a link to in this thread? And when is the DEADLINE for dragging out this as she is only doing the appeal to avoid answering questions.

Was that a flyer prepared by TES? That would be a helpful piece of evidence. Was this something Tim said in his deposition?

Yes. Tim apparently had her read it and approve it before he distributed it; but like everything else in Casey World she had no idea that they were there to search for Caylee. According to him she approved the missing flyer. Maybe she had another "seizure" or something while looking it over. :wink:

You are right, that statement he made about the flier was to WESH and was in response to her answer that she didn't know TES was there to search. Here is a link and a quote from the article.
