Miller says this stems from a tip that said Haleigh's father Ronald needs $35,000 to get his daughter back.

But, Ronald Cummings' attorney says this is misinformation, and says Ronald does not know where his daughter is, and the money will not bring her home.

"On August 28th, Misty Cummings’ father, Hank Croslin Sr., left a voicemail message for Tim Miller of Texas Equusearch claiming Ronald Cummings told him “If I had $35,000, I could have Haleigh back”. So Tim Miller reacted quickly, reaching out to people he knew who would help. Now another fellow Texan and friend of Millers, Roy Moffitt of Roy Moffitt Customized Fueling Inc. has stepped up to the plate and written a check to Ronald Cummings for $35,000

Hmmmm... The facebook Prime News link said that Tim will be answering this at 5pm... Prime News is on HLN, right? I want to make sure I DVR it.

It will be interesting to hear TM's actual voice messages, because from what TM says in his interview for TJ Hart, it's not exactly clear that Ron called TM directly. TM specifically says that Hank Sr called him and stated that Ron told him about giving $35,000 to get Haleigh back home. It almost sounds to me like Hank Sr was checking to see if this was true.

Well, you know what, I've got 5 people that can go ahead and get $35,000 and we can put it in a special account tomorrow. And when little Haleigh comes home, he can go ahead and give that $35,000 to somebody and we're all full of s**t. Just last night that same attorney was saying just getting Haleigh's name out in the spotlight again was good. You'd think the attorney would have let this one play itself out a bit longer, just for the Haleigh in the Spotlight airtime. But here he is, snuffing this one out almost faster than it got up steam. What's up with that?

OK, for arguments sake....Let's say that Hank Croslin Sr DID say this to Tim only.....Does anyone seriously think that Tim Miller wouldn't bother to ask Ron about all of it before making a move like this?
Come on people. Give Tim Miller credit for having enough intelligence to do his job.
The discussion of who said what to who first and all that is a moot point. I would bet my life on it that Tim Miller talked to Ron about this directly.

If Tim did talk to Ron directly, then the line is drawn in the sand. Because Ron's lawyer just called it "misinformation."

Tim Miller confirming Misty wanted polygraph. About Poly, panel member believes Misty is holding back information. He thinks if Ron really thought he could get his daughter back with ransom money, he would have brought that out to the public alreadly, as he had been on national tv (NG show). (almost worded to the word, but am typing fast).

Exactly!! TM is debunking this story and removing the roadblock once and for all so it cannot be used as an excuse in future. Knock these distractions down and get back the focus....

Okay...so this has nothing to do with Ron not wanting TM involved anymore? I took the whole convo about the $35,000 to mean that is what was needed, perhaps, to do a successful search. If Ron is so ticked at TM about the "tests". I could see him saying that if HE-Ron- had the money he could accomplish the same thing. Now, if RC told his FIL that he wants TES out of the picture, I could see the FIL being irate and calling TM and saying, "What's up?" I thought you were coming to help. Now, Ron is talking all kind of crazy sh*t!" Am I way off the mark here? Where's Friday when you need her?!
