OMG I just have to say that I am SHOCKED at what Ron told TM. I had no idea about the laundry soap and Keep yer friends close and yer enemies even closer. The bouncy couch scenerio is the only scenerio that makes sense to me, and hearing TM's words confirmed it!

As aside, Ron has to be one touch cookie to marry that b*tch and maintain a straight face....I, too, would go to any length to find my daughter:clap:

But I guess it is alright to berate and talk horribly about Ronald and his drug history when he obviously has tried to deal with his in a positive way. :waitasec:
You know I believe there are quite a few people in this family with some addiction issues and it isn't exclusive to the Cummings or the Croslins. I think what bothers me is the numerous arrests Ron has had concerning possession with no prison time. I really don't know many people that come out of all that prison free. This is my honest opinion and although it may not be shared by all, it's just my take on the situation. Drugs, alcoholism is an equal opportunity disease and while it's rampant everywhere I believe the lack of harsh sentencing in Putnam county begs some answers. I have said too much so I am going to give myself a brief time out to recollect my thoughts and calm down.

I don't think Tim is lying and I don't think Ronald is lying. I think Hank Sr is lying, imo. I think Hank Sr. mistook something he overheard Ronald say a long time ago probably about the search money and Tim leaving...but he waited until now to bring it up to put Ronald in a bad light with Tim on purpose.

Or Hank just misunderstood too... or he didn't, and we just don't have enough information to know WTH Ron meant.

I thought it was interesting that Hank said other people, "eyewitnesses," heard Ron say it. I got the impression that it made an impression on all of them, but what that impression was is beyond me.

...reaching for the Motrin...

No, you are right there isn't and I didn't mean to imply there was. I guess I have been trying to relieve the stress of the last 24 hours with all of the "back and forth". My family has been affected by drug abuse, alcoholism and I know more about it and the pain involved than I ever wanted to know. I shouldn't make light of it because I do know better.

I wasn't referring to your post.. I was referring to the one you quoted...

My family is rampant with drug abuse and alcohol abuse and I can promise you that laughing about it is the only way I made it through some days.

Maybe we should be asking why Hank Sr. wants the search for Haleigh to stop and why he would go to such lengths to do this?

I don't think it is the 'search' so much as the focus and heat on Misty. He is deflecting to RC as a proxy for MC.

JMO- Cause RC and TC got into it. Tim asked TC to dropped the charges agaist Ron and he wont cause Ron put a rat in his mailbox. Misty has a RO agaist her brother and the Croslin are mad. They tried to get Misty away and all this happened. JMO

I can relate to what you are saying, and totally agree. Laughter Can Be the Best Medicine.. But I don't believe a person's struggle to overcome an addicition is a laughing matter..JMO

I don't think he is protecting Misty...he is protecting Tommy, imo.

Impatient: we don't share the same family, do we?????:blowkiss: Mine is the same and were it not for a sense of humor I wouldn't still be here!

It's sad that they don't realize (and so many people who abuse drugs don't realize) the effect that their use has on everyone around them. MOO but perhaps if the cocaine and booze and whatever wasn't at their disposal likely none of this would have happened and Haleigh would be in the backyard playing with Jr. right now. Gawd, I hope that Misty breaks (I'd break her for FREE, Ronald! Put that in yer pipe and smoke it!!!!!!) and they FIND HALEIGH.

I'm more suspicious of TImmy.

When Misty went on and on about how much they trust and stick together no matter what, and how he told her how suspicious the cousin was acting, and the suspiciousness of the van - his van - ...my radar lit up in his direction as a van-driving accessory after the fact.

I know I said I was taking a time out...but, if any of my posts caused anyone any pain for that I apologize. Yes, laughter about certain parts of addiction with people you know and feel comfortable with is often one of the best cures there is. But, when it comes to the actual battle of addiction there is nothing funny about it...no matter who it concerns. I have no idea if drugs played a role in Haleigh's disappearance and although the subject of addiction is important, finding Haleigh is the priority here, no matter what lines are drawn between those with various opinions as to what happened.

Sorry for the sidetrack...back to Haleigh.

You do have a good point. I don't trust the Croslin men...any of them.

I wonder if we are going to find out who HC's witnesses are. Though I don't think it matters much, I don't trust anyone on either side who could have been around to hear it.

I really want to hear TN's phone message.

Indiana, I just read that and I couldn't help but have a thought in my mind~~~that sounds just like an episode of Jerry Springer. No kidding.

I'm still catching up with this thread so please forgive if this has already been stated. I had an awful thought when I heard about "dirty clothes" in the dryer. Maybe the dirty clothes were not DRY dirty clothes when they were put in the dryer, but WET and MUDDY dirty clothes--wet and muddy from the water behind the house?

Ron has not been charged with putting a rat in Tommy's mailbox.

There's no proof Ron had anything to do with that.

Matter of fact, there are witnesses that state he was home at the time of the rat in the mailbox incident.
