Tim M said he could produce the voicemail & he did. I'm still not getting the whole Larry explanation from Ronald's lawyer. Is it just me, or is it about as clear as mud?

Well...I just listened to Hank Sr's phone message and it is just what I thought it was...BS!! Tim admits he never talked to Ronald to find out the facts surrounding the money comment on HLN. He took Hank Sr's word for it and blasted Ronald instead. I lost respect for Tim over this deal since he didn't bother to check out the facts before he pulled this stunt. Very sad.

I totally agree with you and wish MORE people could see through this stunt.
We are talking Tm not a Cummings or a Croslin here. What is up with that?
I had the same feeling when he said he needed money to do any more searching during the search for Caylee...
I never even heard of TM til the Caylee case and now inserting himself in this case? why? more donations?

I think maybe you should find out more about Mr. Miller before suggesting that he is doing something for more donations. The man has dedicated his life to missing people and their families.

Donations? I heard nothing about that. Besides, who wouldn't want to offer this man money if they could?

I know I'm weighing in quite late, but the alleged statements from Ron make no sense to me.

The "Keep your friends close..." thing sounds like some kind of macho posturing. You suspect your teen girlfriend killed your daughter. You marry her? Show her public support? Why? The only motive I can possibly see in terms of that is if he has some sort of guilty knowledge. He wants to keep tabs on her, for instance, so she doesn't talk too much. I think they're in a vicious circle of obsfucation.

Why on earth would Misty kill Haleigh to keep her from telling? She's obviously getting some from this new guy. Why not just leave? I doubt she's with Ron for the money. It's not for his stunningly handsome good looks or his luxurious home. Maybe she loves him (didn't stop her from cheating, allegedly) but what's worse? Getting in trouble for screwing around, or the potential for a murder conviction? Or better yet, she could have said she was lying. She's five. Explanations might have come off as lame, but Ron wouldn't KNOW, right?

I think Misty knows what happened to Haleigh, and she knows Ron had to put her up as collateral for something heinous, or this is a retribution abduction like the case of the boy in Nevada. The $35,000 thing, as inexplicable as it is, is the only thing I find credible in Ron's statements.

I can't not believe Ron had nothing to do with this.

Babycat is my daughter and she filled me in on the TM tape. Long, tiring day, so I've only read the 1st couple of pages of this thread, I'll catch up tomorrow.
One thought I did want to express tonight - Tim Miller is a respectable, generous man with a BIG heart who is extremely passionate about his work. He (& LE) know that Misty hasn't been forthcoming about what happened that night. They know that there ARE people who CAN help solve this crime and they're fed up. Bottom line, the heat is turned up, up, up now. Tim Miller is gonna release all he needs to about anyone and everyone and doesn't give a flying flip who it ticks off or incriminates. TM's priority is finding Haleigh. Let the chips fall where they may. Thank God. For the past few months that main goal seemed to get lost in all the ugly.

Sorry RR I was just joking or making an attempt at it. I believe the pain med issue refers to a "certain someone" (down in the Satsuma area) who was hospitalized for an overdose...that's all I can say on the matter. I went overboard last night and am trying to be more careful with my words...it shouldn't last too long.

The way Hank Sr. presented it was malicious. I want to know when Ronald made any comment directly to him. It wasn't recently if he did, imo.

After I went back and viewed the reward video...it jumped out at me that it was exactly $35,000. Is it possible this was a demand and instead they made it a reward instead of a ransom? Maybe Ronald felt at that time they should give the money to the kidnapper after it failed to bring results. This could be around the time that Ronald made a statement with mentioning that specific amount, imo.

so Seriously, are you saying you believe this?? that Ron got this info from a four year old little kid, and believed it enough to tell others that if he had the money and knew who this 'Larry' was he'd have Haleigh back??? Yet this same man, RC, when told by police, FBI, and others that Misty is the KEY to the case and is INCONSISTENT with her stories - he marries and defends her and covers for her.....

SS - At least Tim admitted as soon as he could that he never spoke to Ron directly regarding the money comment. He's a good steward of his words generally and like all of us, makes mistakes once in a while. If you can admit to those in short order, you're still in good standing with me. Tim has done far more good than he's done wrong when it comes to looking for the missing. Please be a little more forgiving in his regard for that alone.

I do not think that any bashing of TM should be allowed on this forum. TM is a very well respected man. He has suffered a great loss, and has dedicated his life to helping find missing persons. He is a true hero with a heart of gold. I have the utmost respect for the man, as I am sure others here feel the same. TM does not play sides, his only goal is to help find the missing....he has proven this over and over again. God bless TM !!

I would like to say I truely believe TM has demonstrated from the begining that he has been in conflict with LE. YouTube - Haleigh / Items of interest found2
The fact that TM discredits evidence found in the home (4th day) and that was being tested by LE says alot to me.

He was not discrediting it.........he was just saying in his opinion........it was not going to lead them to Haleigh. And actually, IIRC Tim was speaking about evidence they had found while searching that day.........not the evidence in the trailer. Shoddy reporting as usual.

For the life of me, I cannot imagine Ron sitting down with a 4-year-old little girl (who is not his daughter) and talking to her about her imaginary friend. Especially one named Haleigh.

I am not trying to cast a negative light on Ron; this could apply to most men. JMO.
