I saw her in concert in the early 80s.
That woman!.. I mean those legs & voice!
Will NEVER forget her energy.
She was a force.
Jagger says she taught him to dance❤️

From what I've read, they were very good friends. He was one of the people who helped engineer her big comeback in the 80's.

IMHO Tina Turner is and will remain my favorite person. She was fun, beautiful, talented, and brave. Her performances were magic to watch. There was nothing like watching her dance across a stage with those high heels and long legs rocking to the music. Tina is one of those rare people that no one will ever be able to "reimagine". She is truly one of a kind. RIP beautiful lady.

May 26th 2023, 8:37 PM EDT

Her death was attributed to natural causes; she was 83 years old.

In recent years, she lived a quiet life away from the public eye, dealing with multiple health issues, including a stroke in 2013, intestinal cancer in 2016 and a kidney transplant in 2017.

The legendary Tina Turner was not a new artist when her breakthrough album, Private Dancer, dropped on May 29, 1984. She was, in fact 44 years old, and Turner — who died almost exactly 39 years later on May 24, 2023 — had already been making music for a decade.

But Private Dancer — with its phenomenal success, selling more than 8 million copies — marked Tina’s big break into the rank of household names. Earworm alert: Who could forget “What’s Love Got to Do with It?”, which was Turner’s first No. 1 hit and played nonstop on the radio in 1984?
