The river finally gave them up. All three are on their way home to be laid to rest. A sad, sad ending to what should have been a fun day out. At least they were recovered sooner rather than later.

How sad, multiple oversights both in the organization of the fishing tournament and in the safety of the spillway. I live near a dam with extensive boating in the created lake and it hasn't been possible for a boat to be dragged through it for decades. Cleaning the debris out of the barricade gives the rangers something to do, too.
