Aaron Young, 27, went missing while walking at North Park around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Young was last seen wearing a camouflage hoodie and black pants. Young did not have his medication with him at the time.

Jackson police search for missing 27-year-old man

Aaron Young, 27, was last seen walking away from his residence on Viewmont Cove Thursday around 7:30 p.m., according to a Jackson Police Department news release.

Young is a white male standing approximately six feet, two inches tall and weighing about 165 pounds.

Anyone with information on Young's location is encouraged to contact the Jackson Police Department at 731-425-8400 or Crime Stoppers at 731-424-8477.

“Just hope he comes home. Hopefully this is something stupid he’s doing and we see him, but this is not like him. He always talks to me, even if he’s upset with family or friends. He always talks to me about it. And the fact that he hasn’t contacted me really upsets me because it’s not like him,” said Young’s brother, Anthony Young.

It’s odd that a second young man went missing on the same date in Jackson, TN. Does anyone know if the young men knew each other, or had any mutual friends? It’s got to be unbearable for the families to not have any idea what happened to either of these young men. William Brian McKenzie, JR is 21 and a vehicle disappeared with him. Surely someone has seen something. These men are over 6 ft tall. They would be hard to miss.

It’s November, I haven’t heard anything else on the news at all about Aaron since his mother was on making a plea. I feel so awful for his family. Holidays are coming. I really hope there is an investigation underway for him. It just seems like he is being treated like a runaway. I DO NOT believe that for one second. He was dependable. Someone knows something. The truth will come out eventually. I will keep praying for him and his family.

It’s bittersweet and very hard to know remains were found Christmas in North Jackson. I’m praying for both families. Aaron’s are especially in my prayers. His pings were last in this area, I believe. I was holding so much hope.

So there were remains found and then additional remains found in same area, correct?

Very sad right now. Our update has been confirmed. The remains belong to Aaron. I am happy the family has closure. I am so sad they lost such a sweet and unique person.

Didn't mean to confuse! Walking was just the default in Google for the ant trail - my map as purely intended to show the location Aaron was last seen to the body and the distance between.
RIP Aaron, I hope they find out what happened to you.
