I found a recent you- tube podcast a interveiw Seth Roger .
I contacted Knitty, our Moderator, Tricia for permission regarding the Podcast, It has been approved but only for Episode 159 .
The Lore Lodge, Episode 159, "Clearing the Air with Seth Rogers and Tony Mathis. Date February 16th 2025.
Sorry Knitty, they altered the Title.
Also I am sorry I not very good at computers, in how to post the Episode 159 on this thread, if anyone can help and advise me how to do it, for future threads . I will be very grateful. At the moment I can only quote it.
IMO in this interveiw , I thought it give insight into Sebastian's Personality. Insight into what Sebastian liked and what he could do in his social life with his Dad such as playing Magic And Gathering etc, His Schooling, his interaction with people and what he was capable of doing.
The arrangements regarding his schooling and moving to his Father in the Summer, Timeline with his parents before Sebastian disappered was made much more clearer.
IMO ,I know this coming from his Father, Some information did go off subject, but focus stayed mainly on Sebastian IMO it was informative.
May the Light shine as a Beacon of Hope through the vast Darkness and bring Sebastian home.

"WE'RE NEVER GOING TO STOP SEARCHING:" It's now been a full year since Sebastian Rogers, a teenager with a magical smile from Sumner County, Tennessee, went missing. Now, his mother shares the nightmare that her last year has been.

WATCH: https://bit.ly/41iZKks

Honest mistake? Slip?

At about 1 minute, they mention Sebastian's birthday.

Mom says, "he would have -- [catches herself] -- he turned 16."

What is most notable is the pause. She drags it out a good three-count before backing up and changing tenses, with a slow emotional sigh. Again, choked up? Or... an attempt to cover for the near slip-up?

It's curious.

I'm going to throw this out here, not that I believe but I raise the possibility, simply because it does seem like he simply vanished.

He took out the trash.

We know that the trash was used punitive, tines he had to throw away whatever of his he hadn't picked up.

Is it possible that Sebastian went back out to the trash to recover whatever he might have been forced to throw away that week? Save it before the trash collector comes.

Could he have fallen in, the lid closing atop him, and suffocated by positional asphyxiation?

You'd think he'd have been found during the landfill searches, if that were the case but maybe not.

We know he took out the trash.
We know he was forced on occasion to throw away his belongings.
The next day was trash day.
The stepfather was away. His mom was asleep.

Did he sneak out, barefooted, to retrieve whatever was in there and accidentally fell in?

It has happened.

It's a possibility I hadn't considered, but would possibly account for the bang the parents heard too.

I still think there is a lot more to this case though

Here's an example where such a thing happened. If he fell in and wasn't able to get out, the position alone could have suffocated him, and early morning trash pick up in the dark, the garbage collector would be completely unaware. How he'd be missed at the landfill? For that I can't account.

But it WOULD account for his disappearance, for the total lack of ring video, for the missing penlight, for barefootedness. And it's not unreasonable to think there might be something of value to Sebastian in that trash that he wanted back, especially while his stepdad was out of town.

It would account for the seeming boldness of his departure. Out the front door, while his mom was right there, even if asleep. No shoes, no backpack. He wasn't running away, he wasn't meeting anyone. He was going out to dig through the trash to find his electronics or something. He's lanky, weightless. It could happen.

Is a photo of the trash can or container available?

I went out into the lobby on lunch earlier and the news station we play 24/7 was airing a segment on him (I'm not too far from Nashville). I kinda froze for a minute because sometimes I think these "things" are only on the internet to compartmentalize. MOO.

“Do you see Sebastian coming back through your front door? Do you feel he’s okay, he’s alive,” asked Thompson.

“I dream about it every day. I dream that one day I’m gonna wake up, and this is gonna be a nightmare. But yes,” said Katie Proudfoot, “I believe that my son is out there somewhere. I believe that we are going to bring him home, and we’re going to find a way to recover from this, and I’m going to watch him grow into a young man, and you know, live the life that he deserves to have.”

“What would you say to him when he walked in that door,” asked Thompson.

“Oh, I don’t know if I’d be able to speak,” said Proudfoot. “I’d probably bulldoze him down with hugs. Honestly, when I picture that, I just picture being able to hug him, to hold him, to smell him. I mean, just to be able to hear his voice, to hear his laugh...”

Passing a lie detector doesnt really matter, imo, though, its interesting that its mentioned. Why feel you needed to say that? Thats my only comment at this time. moo

yes, they aren't admissible in court and LE won't be releasing the results so all we have is what KP claims and that doesn't make it true and even if true doesn't help find Sebastian so it felt very self serving to me that she mentions it. JMO
