Not sure what to think about this one. There are a lot of unanswered questions. Who was she with? What time did it happen? How long did that person wait before notifying the police? Were there any witnesses? Were there cameras nearby? Etc., etc., etc.

I'm just not buying the narrative. 3 armed unknown people just approach two people and one runs away and one disappears? If I had 3 people with guns trained on me, running wouldn't be an option but the other person just safely runs away?

I can see an armed robber, perhaps, but it's usually not THREE people, just one. And again, you run away with even one person pointing a gun at you? Sorry, just doesn't make sense.

The missing woman is currently on active probation. Alias Bobbie Jo Hunter. Here's her booking photo from JUNE 3, from the Tennessee state felon database. Detailed Results. Looks like the arrest was in Memphis but that county (Shelby) is one of the few in the state that doesn't allow for online court record search so no luck on the initial charges.

Thanks! - I don't know why I read it as being a female that was with Bobbie - but realized that after I had first posted so I had time to edit it. It now doesn't indicate gender of Bobbie's companion.

Was it definitely guns? I can only see reference to 'weapons', but I haven't watched the YouTube video.

The city watch lists time elapsed as 2 hours, so maybe they reported it immediately. I can imagine the info on the person she was with is not included to protect that person.

Good point - it didn't say specifically "guns" but the term "armed" is often used by the media with firearms, though LE will use it with both firearms and flat-edged weapons. 3 people with knives seems unlkely IMO. FBI stats in a study from 2019 showed knives are used in less than 9% of armed robbery (and I personally doubt that the event as reported was a kidnapping). Robbery

3:44pm also seems an odd time to have men armed with weapons in broad daylight BUT it would seem the area is affected by drugs , homicides and gangs.
Last year an economy hotel was closed on Lamar Ave. for this reason.

There's not another thread for a Bobbie, unless it was deleted once that person was located. She does resemble someone I remember on here, but I believe that woman was from the UP and has been missing for some time. I couldn't find any prior missing reports for her under her current name or any other name used (married/maiden name, etc).
