I think she said I want to make the point. The judge told her ask questions make point in closing. I may be wrong. I do have doubts unlike Ethel. hehe

This is the first time that I haven't like TK's approach. She just needs to quit and move on. This is not helping and she's drawing too much attention to the inconsistency by seeming to care so much about it. Sit down, TK. Let this slide on by.

I didn't hear him do it, but judge must have sent them out. Don't think they'd be having this conversation unless they were gone.

TK really wants to (and needs to) definitively put him at the house at that time, but she needs to stop underlining the fact that Ethyl has credibility issues.

This is TK's first mistake. After the first cross, she should have just asked Ethyl if she was sure about George, PERIOD.

I guess we didn't expect the defense to try to say he wasn't there... I thought it was something they admitted.


Oh, boy... Did y'all get those jury questions? All about Ethyl's claimed sighting of Chris and Channon. ...

I"m not sure, but TK maybe has made a sly move here. Ethyl testifies about seeing George, that is clear to the jury. Defense brings up past testimony about gas station, etc. TK attacks that, there is cross, re-direct, re-cross, re direct, judge conference. Jury is confused about all that. Last thing jury knows for sure (and TK will point this out) is that Ethyl consistenly has said she saw G at chipman. TK just muddies the water about the inconsitant testimony part. Just a thought.

TK could have taken this head-on in direct, showing consistently ID'd Thomas despite other inconsistencies

Judge sends jury out so TK can argue 4 right to show 5 diff statements in which Ethel ID'd Thomas

Judge rules TK can try to show Ethel has always ID'd Thomas as 1 she saw walking on Chipman Sun morning

Good job TK. She was already geared up to counter the Channon/ Chris at the gas station begging for gas money testimony. Both Channon and Chris had money in their accounts and debit card. She's questioning the bank people testifying to that now. Money in accounts. No transactions from Church Street. Ethyl must have been mistaken.
