Ok, now, defense is going after her for her testimony in the Davidson trial where she 'saw' Channon and Christian begging for gas money.

So now she is saying she went by there around 10pm Saturday night, and then stopped at the Exxon on the way home. Says she saw Chris and Channon at the gas station.

She's sure they appeared like Chris & Channon, but didn't know them. Knows G, so she's sure.

"To this day, are you saying that you saw them there." (Like we're pretty sure she didn't.)
"Yes," she says.

Now, he's saying, "Are you sure you saw George like you're sure you saw Channon and Chris?"

Channon asked her for money, they were out of gas between 9:30 and 10pm Saturday evening. they were headed to johnson or jefferson city.
Defense: are you saying to this day you saw them there?
Ethel: yes
Defense: in your mind you are not mistaken you saw them at the Exxon
Ethel: Yes

This witness is as flaky as pop-n-fresh dough... she's not a terribly likable witness either. Defense doesn't seem to happy w her latest turnabout. She's not really helping anyone IMO.
