Yeah but I thought Cobbins stayed with Channon... and the other 3 took Chris away??? Where would they have been going if Channon was at the house and Chris was with Boyd only? I think they were trying to pin on the one that wasn't there as the one that killed Chris alone. What you think?

Whole statement doesn't make sense to me. Channon never left that house, IMO. She was taken there, tied up....and then the police found her there in the trashcan. When did she leave the house, and where was she taken and why? It's all crap...I think that GT stuck with the original "story" that these three brain surgeons came up with to make it look like they weren't there and therefore not a part of anything. I think that all four of them took Chris to the train tracks (when worker saw them in the SUV) and I think that Coleman was watching Channon at the house. I also think that the mysterious "trip" that LD took in the SUV alone was to try to get money out of Channon and/or Chris's bank account. Alllll just my opinions!!

Steeler, i would tend to agree with your statement. However, remember wasnt it Coleman that originally said that Channon was forced to shoot chris. (God, a horrible thought). Maybe they took her with them to the tracks. Otherwise, why would she have said that?

I could believe that. Makes me wonder if he doesn't have an airtight alibi for shortly after 10pm or something. On tape somewhere. It's possible he did leave right away....by himself.

I'd love to know what kind of discussions they all had together before they were captured.

Cross of Norman beginning now.

Defense jumping right into the statement made after tape turned off.

  • #168
Defense trying to make the point that if Norman needed to refer to the memorandum today to correctly remember what G said in Jan 2007, then why believe that he was remembering correctly when he finally wrote the memorandum in June of 2008.

W/e..... this detective, like any one of us, could never forget GT's off-tape statement because it is so cold and heartless... I sure wouldn't forget it.

I wish this detective would stand up for himself... 'F' obviously isn't a word in his everyday vocabulary nor something he'd make up, and under the circumstances "F--- that white girl" is a shockingly coldhearted remark no one's inclined to forget.

Maybe if the defense attorney keeps reading the transcript aloud--w every other word by GT 'nomsayn,' GT will hear how ridiculous it sounds...?? Nah...

Dillard is citing various comments from the transcript of the interview...

There's one part I didn't hear... that the detective told G, "Help us because you are the most innocent person in the whole thing."

Not much to see... they're just showing the detective ... except when Dillard was going over transcript, they showed him looking at it... a larger version was projected on the screen, but we couldn't see it.
