There is no way in heLLo the neighbors did not hear. I think this is the worst thing i have ever sat through. I missed the ME last time. this is so sad.

Jury's asking whether or not she was gagged. Dr says it was possible...

And IKWYM.. I heard it last time, but for some reason, it's getting to me worse today. :sheesh: I'm nauseated.

Jury ? was she concious or unconcious during rape......most likely
Was she gagged?......could have been, was not gagged when brought to me ofc.

ETA: paraphraising.

Most likely which? :waitasec:

I dont think it makes one bit of difference whether she was conscious in the trash can. But ME did answer juror question that she was almost certainly conscious during the rapes.

Conscious.

She said she saw no injuries to the head that were severe enough to cause a loss of consciousness.

She said it was possible that she could have lost consciousness from something being over the face, but (I think) it would have been brief...

Court in session tomorrow. No court on Sunday.

Jury can work Sunday if they really want to.

Didn't she also say that the pain of what was happening to her probably wouldn't have made her unconscious, probably the opposite. Or did I misinterpret what she said?

We were in Italy when it happened, so I started following it there. I bet she'll be convicted, but I doubt she did it. She did change her story though, never a good idea under those circumstances. The prosecutor is obsessed with Satanism and persecuted others. He's been on trial himself for misconduct.

Smart defense attorney this time in the Thomas trial. He didn't go after Dr. M-P like the two before. They both lost.

I agree, I didn't follow it all, but I don't think she is guilty....I do think also she will be convicted, I hate to think of her in jail if she is innocent she is just so young.

Should be a cautionary tale to students going abroad for study and their parents. She did drugs, was sexually forward and fed into some substantial Anti-American sterotypes and prejudices which aren't overwhelming, but which exist. Kids should hear about this case before leaving.

I think she was probably in shock for most of it, and giving up hope. She maybe just wanted it all to end. The thugs also probably told her that to scream would bring more pain or worse. I hate to even think about it sometimes.

Listening as judge tells him that the DA has agreed not to question him about the sole conviction on his record... the state would only ask about this case...

There is NO WAY G will testify in my opinion.

Add that, with those railroad tracks being so close, she may easily have heard that. :(

Yep, know what you mean. Her mom has testified that she had anxiety attacks. I can't image how terrified she must have been, or how much she suffered with those injuries. In one trial, when the defense was trying to get Dr. M-P to say that she didn't know who did what, Dr. M-P came back that it wasn't her job to say who did what, it was her job to speak for the victims to say how they suffered and that she was there to say these two suffered a great deal. I think about them a lot. My heart goes out to their families. I hope they can some day find some modecum of peace.
