ID'ing Chris' shoes and Channon's pants. Also ID'ing pictures that Channon kept in her visor in the 4runner. ID'ing different clothes from the bag in the car that Channon was taking to Goodwill.

Jerome Arnold
Lived a block away from the house.

He was in his living room watching TV when he heard three pops at exactly 1:45am, Jan 7. He thought it was someone setting off fireworks, so he looked at his watch because it was late to be doing that.

Leland establishes that he heard the pops coming from the direction of the train tracks.

Defense now has him and is questioning distances between houses, etc. Defense says less than a football field, tops. Witness appears to agree.

Defense is still going on about the distances and how far the RR tracks were.

Defense trying to say the house was even closer, so did he hear any screams? Witness says it depends on how insulated house... atty says, let's say it wasn't.. haha..

TK objects to . Judge overrules. Hypothetical ok.

Witness offers that he has heard the neighbors across the street argue, but only when they were in their front yard.

He worked in a building in front of RR tracks, and he saw smoke coming from tracks that morning. He didn't think too much of it until later that afternoon when detectives came.
