That's true, although I don't really think they were "friends" with them as much as they were using them for rides and selling them drugs.

Oh I'm sure they were using them but I thought a couple of them were girlfriends.

I worry about the critical thinking capabilities of some of the jurors. Question was why didn't you test blood on the nail in the bedroom. Answer, there was no blood on the nail in the bedroom.

I got back in time to hear him explaining to the jury why they don't always tape interviews. He said some are out in the field, and it's against the feds' policy when working with them. (weird)

He says he found blood on the baseboard.

Looks like Leland is going to pursue that blood thing... Having witness clarify where it was...

There was some at eye-level in living room and some on baseboard in front bedroom.

SusiQ didn't they also ask if it's protocol to record interviews. The answer was "yes" and "no". The audio automatically turns on when they enter the interview room. When interviewing out in the field they are not required to record the interview.

The other question was why was the witness allowed to hear the other witness's testimony. The judge answered that one but I didn't really hear his answer.

I might have heard wrong, but I thought they asked why he was not there for all testimony, since he was the lead investigator, and judge said it's not allowed for one witness to listen to others' testimony until their own is over.

All interrogations should be taped - audio and video. I think I have become so CSI'd that I expect it. The jury has asked several good questions. I really liked the one about the LOOOOOONG shower. What kind/size of hot water tank does that place have?
