Was present when LE interviewed his daughter that day.

After the grand jury, went back to hotel because they had to go back to fed building the next day because of a subpeona.

Met with officers that next morning, him his wife and VC. Says they voluntarilly went.....no VC was subpeoned.

Lavit told jurors in opening statements they woild hear from Coleman so this could break bad for her

Coleman won't testify

Lavitt had made the promise that VC would testify and "explain everything" the lynchpin of his opening statement.

He went with his wife and his mother's sister.

The next day, there was no GJ hearing, but they went to the building anyway, voluntarily, and met with officers.

He started to tell us where they went around, but Lavit cut him off. lol

VC took agents on a trip to point out case relevant locations.

I can''t believe he made such a promise.. to back out after that looks very bad.

Still, she obviously has a friend on the jury, whose looking for a the slightest excuse to find her NG of anything at all, no matter how asinine. I hope that juror gets excused.

Authorities never asked Coleman about journal or purse w/ Channon's stuff in it - dad
Dad - told his daughter to be honest

Lavitt confirming that no one complained about her journal, etc. then.

I'm so glad the guy from yesterday kept repeating how all this was going on in just the first few days of the case.

Objection, attorneys at bench. Lavit was asking Greg to commit hearsay about what his daughter said.

Hmm, Price objecting when Lavit gets father to say VC was scared upon learning from Waggoner that word got out that she was cooperating as a witness.

Yes my impression last week was that there were a couple of pro-Vanessa jurors. These would have wanted her to deny everything on the stand.

Judge letting it in. There was a gang that lived there, and she said was afraid of them getting revenge.

I would be too, but if she was, why not stay in protective custody? Probably hard to get her drugs from there.
