Lavit confirms again that the interactions with investigators were cooperative rather than confrontational. Father didn't think they were going to prosecute her.

Leland gets up and confirms that the only reason he thought that was non-confrontational interactions and thinking they wanted to use her as a witness - there was no talk of immunity, etc.

Lavit was able to clarify that dad thought this because she was treated as a witness and put into protective custody.
