First revolver:
.22 caliber long rifle Clerk double-action revolver (Cobbins') - it was missing a cylinder retaining pin which keeps the cylinder retained in gun and aligned with barrel... works, but without the pin, you had to line it up manually.
[couldn't get a good image of it - she's not holding them up]
Second revolver: (Davidson's)
.22 caliber
high standard revolver
"Single action-double action" (I think she was correcting herself)
Has a firing pin - works fine
6 lans and grooves in barrel
Lans & grooves cause the bullet to spin - unique to type
Individual features like use, abuse, etc. create marks on bullet that are unique to gun itself
Bullet casings found on shelf in front porch and top of fridge of Davidson's house matched this second, "High standard" gun.
The bullets recovered from Chris Newsom's back and neck came from a high standard revolver like the second gun - similar class characteristics, but lack of sure agreement on individual characteristics- can't say certain comes from gun - can't identify or exclude.
Compared to test fires from the first/Clerk gun (Cobbins'): signature disagreement between the characteristics - didn't come from that gun.
