The judge looks like he's aged 25 years since Cobbins. I think this is whole case is wiping him out.

I expect they'll see the missing parts are blacked out.

I'm glad it'll remind them that there is evidence they aren't being given.

How the heck is the defense going to get from, "She said she didn't want to die," to Davidson having consentual sex with Channon. Only a perveyor of very black magic could even consider tyring to go there.
Oh, he told them she said she didn't wanna die because he was petrified! Couldn't you tell?

Witness excused. Breaking for the day.

I guess the jurors could tell there was some things missing from the tape.
Yeah like the guy did jail for carjacking...part of the same crime he's accused of now. Only, the jury can't know that.

Nuthin' says skeered like sittin' back, nommin' on rice & yawning.

Judge explains to jury that the evidence is the interview - not the transcript, so if they find a discrepancy, the interview on tape rules.

So that means maybe one of them will read about him just getting out of prison???????????HOPEFULLY Judge has to be thinking smart jury.

It's truly messed up, isn't it?

I'm sure they'll just black out those parts of the transcript, unfortunately. :snooty:

I honestly think the people on the jury are very smart and know much more about Davidson. For myself I don't think I could keep myself away from researching the truth about a person and their past, if I am being asked to send them to death I want to know it all.

You can sort of glean a few glimpses into what happened from the combined stories of the defendants. The carjack, the fact that Channon was brought in with a hoddie over her. The statment of not wanting to die. These statements keep cropping up in different people stories.

Davidson has seemed pretty relaxed throught the trial so far from what i've seen. But it will interesting to see how he (and the jurors) react to the coming testimony of his semen being found in and on Channon. Under his attornies theory of the case, that is impossible to explain. Cobbins tried to dodge the issue by pleading guilty to rape and explaining the oral sex. But Slim isnt doing that. So how will he explain it?

Anyone know if there is any interrogation on line of George Thomas, I would like to hear what he has to say since his prints/DNA was not found.

I am stumped as not only do I not ever remember reading his interrogation, I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone have this? TIA.

Welcome to WS! Before today it was becoming clear that the defense was pushing that Channon traded drugs for sex. I don't know how they can do that now after Davidson's interview was played today. He flat out says he's never seen them before, doesn't know them, they've never been to the house, he never sold them drugs.

The jury is asking really good questions. Do wonder what they think when some go unanswered.

It is a travesty that the victims are trashed as justice is sought. I watch Channon's father rock back and forth in the court room as he stares over at the defendent. I wonder how many times he's wished he could jump over the benches and snuff the breath right out of this-very-cleaned-up monster. I pray for Channon and Chris' parents, family and friends. It's a horrible system when a person is innocent until proven guilty but the innocent victim is dirtied in the process.

One thing for sure they know they are being kept in the dark about something's. Hopefully they put 2 and 2 together. A lot of the slang Davidson was using is drug and gang related a normal way of talking for him, jury will see that. I know he will get life, but I would love to see death.

I don't understand this tactic about somehow victims knew one of these guys and offered to trade sex for drugs since this wasn't exactly what you would think was a fair trade. How would they hope to even convince one juror that this young couple went along with whatever weed or pills that made it okay to do what these beasts did to them. Neither of them had traces of drugs in their system, right? So when is this perp's attorney going to figure out he can't show there was a deal struck? If there even was, where are the drugs they were bartering for?

Julie & Suzi, I've been looking for it since the Cobbins trial. I've never been able to find it either. :waitasec:
