It would be for my husband, (Laughing) he hates Nancy Grace. I can handle her once a week.

lol I finally had to give up on her entirely. I don't like mean people, no matter whose side they're on. And she's flat-out mean. Even to good people when they're nice to her.

I hope the jury didn't have a turkey sandwich and a big glass of milk for lunch or they must be ZZZZzzzzzz..........

IMO

There won't be doubt about the rape of Channon. There won't be doubt about her murder.

There may be doubt about the rape and murder of Newsom, but they may get this one on that.

There may be doubt about the murder of Newsom, but I think the prosecution may have done enough to get him this time, at least on something...unlike Cobbins.

This point in a trial is always scary but I really the defense has done enough for Channon and all they can for Newsome. I think it may be enough for conviction, however they may not go all the way to death.

After reading and watching various interviews, testimony etc LD is only one I feel certain IS responsible for rape of Chris. Just wish more could've been done w timeline, or other perps' interviews/statements admitted. I don't care if it means giving him the DP twice  I want LE held accountable for that.

Well you might have close to your wish... if he is given DP like I think he will, he will first spend years on death row.

:parrot:

OOO I want him to get the DP, but I know there are many people that just can't bring themselves to convict someone to death, so I think the death row would be a perfect in between place for people like Davidson. He would never have any pleasures, that it seems the general prison population get. I think living on death row would be worse then dying.

This wait must be intolerable for the Christians and Newsoms

I don't mean any disrespect, but I just keep waiting for the judge to say, "blah, blah, blah.."

  • #530
Maybe the Judge will just stop and say "Ah shoot, this guy is guilty as hell. fry him!"

  • #531
Looking at the papers in the judges hand....we might be down to the last then pages....I hope!

  • #532
Maybe 20 pages.....

The worst part to me is when she fawns on about 'the twins' usually just before teeing off and abusing some poor victim who agreed to be on her show. She seems phony, balony.

I agree! During Cobbins' trial it seemed like forever, but after this it goes fairly quickly. Once you finally hear Guilty it is an overwhelming, wonderful feeling. I cried for at least 10 minutes!

You know he is thinking..........What?

"I got this..." probably (arrogant as he is, I'm just shocked he didn't get up on that stand).

I know it's off topic, but what gets me is when she has those fake tears coming when she's talking about the twins. LOL. It's so obvious she's trying to make her voice crack.

They've got a gun, a couple of them, right there in the courtroom. Anybody got any 22 ammo? And YES, I AM JUST KIDDING.

He probably decided not to take the stand when his lawyers told him how his brother messed up by getting on the stand and blabbering.

Also, the jury would further see that he's not the conservative librarian that his defense lawyers have dressed him up to be. Of course, they may have given him speech lessons.

Oh I meant about some of the other stuff that wasn't introduced, ie if the bleach on her shirt was mentioned eg, then can she go there (re bleach elsewhere)? And lots of things that may be disallowed in closing because they were never admitted.

:parrot:
Yeah, that stuff is making me crazy. The bleach thing especially, because it alone should tip things over to deserving death.

Same for other things, like his pulling a gun on Daphne and the other girl, which show that he is capable of violence, and isn't just the harmless corner drug dealer he claimed to be.

I'm wondering if those things and his previous convictions can at least be considered at sentencing - I mean, isn't that what judges do when they give repeat offenders harsher sentences?

Shouldn't the jury be given the same opportunity?
