Claude Ray Snyder, 72, was last seen by a roommate on Sept. 15 when he left a hotel located on West Stone Drive at 11:30 a.m. that morning. The roommate reported his disappearance the next day, telling investigators that he had went out to get something to eat and never returned.

Snyder has ongoing health issues that leads to concern about his location and welfare. The roommate and police have been unable to locate a photograph of the missing man. They have been unable to meet with the roommate since the initial interview last month.

Snyder is described as a white male standing 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds who is partly balding and was last seen wearing a plaid button-up shirt and blue jeans.

A Monday press release from the Kingsport Police Department says Claude Ray Snyder was last seen on Sept. 15. He was walking on West Stone Drive in a plaid button-up shirt and jeans. He had been staying at the Westside Inn with another individual.

That person called police the next day, worried that Snyder had not returned. Snyder also reportedly has some ongoing health issues that are cause for concern.
