On Eliza’s FB, some time ago, she mentions wanting a baby monitor that she can link in to her phone. I wonder, if she did get something and it is still used, whether there would be any kind of info available from that.
Would that include images of places outside their home or along her jogging route? How does that work?

I pray she is found safe!
I hope so too. She must have huge strength of mind to be able to do the running alongside her other commitments, so I hope she has the opportunity to use this determination to escape or to stay alive until she is found.

Pre-meditated? On which side of the street was she running - he was parked across the street.

Perhaps he parked in the Church parking lot (protected by trees), walked across the street as she was heading towards him, grabbed her, took her to his vehicle, and headed left.

Does the Church has security cameras?

I haven't yet seen an official statement directly from police that uses the word "smashed" to describe the phone.

I have seen articles on multiple local Memphis news sites authored by a Jacob Gallant that state: "Police say Fletcher’s phone was found smashed and the phone and her water bottle were found in front of a home on Central Ave." I have also seen other articles refer to the phone as being smashed that each cite as the source, not police, but one of the news sites on which Mr. Gallant's article was published.

If anyone else has seen a statement directly from police that characterizes the phone as "smashed," please link to it.

For now, I don't know whether "smashed" is a word that the police or anyone else who saw the phone actually used or if it's the reporter's word. Nor do I know, if a LEO or witness who saw the phone characterized it as "smashed", truly meant "smashed" over merely "scratched", "cracked", etc..

For example, I've seen plenty of people still using phones with horribly scratched/chipped screens. Could that be the case here? Could Ms. Fletcher have already had a banged up/scratched up screen (it's not all that unlikely given she's a runner and has kids)? If the phone truly is in "smashed" condition, perhaps the vehicle or another vehicle driving by later happened to drive over it. Or perhaps the abductor grabbed it from her and just threw it hard down on the ground/curb?

Many possibilities still open given the typical early-post-incident-fog that clouds reporting and no direct statement from police on the phone's condition.

Can you tell where there are street lights there?

Police are towing this vehicle from the home in the investigation of Eliza Fletcher's abduction. We also saw a computer and lawn shears tagged as evidence and removed from the home.@ABC24Memphis

The family of a Midtown woman kidnapped today while jogging has posted a $50,000 extra award with CrimeStoppers for information that helps authorities arrest those responsible.

I wondered that too. Cracked screen, like dropping the phone on a tiled floor, or plastic casing cracked?

Do we know which side of the street she would run on, north or south?

It looks like both sides have sidewalks that are right by the curb and the roadbed, not behind a road verge

Just from those street shots, the church driveway looks like it could hide a car. I assume the church has a houselight on at night but I'm not seeing too many overhead street lights in that area.

Was the vehicle towed from HER home? Or a HOME? I’m confused.

Is that Eliza's home?

Her home. I googled the address earlier and that appears to be their house.

Thanks. Wow. I figured you would be on top of it!

Lol I know, it's very weird. You have an abduction literally captured on camera, and you're towing a vehicle from the victim's home.

As I said before, I'm skeptical of the official narrative. Add this to the list of reasons why.

<modsnip - quoted post was removed>

Guns or pepper sprays are great for self-defense, only if one expects to be attacked. In a University area, and running every day, perhaps, Lisa felt safe.

On the other hand, that abductor, he knew her route, he prepared everything. He probably targeted her. Maybe in another car, on another day, but he planned it, so nearby cameras have to be checked for available recordings on other days. If he, indeed, is unknown to her, and maybe abducted for money, then, her whole day must be known to him. The school where she worked, etc.

Looking through her posts, one wonders if she, herself, unwittingly gave information about her family. One wonders how much time he had to prepare.

The house photos are her home. Perhaps that is her vehicle? If the suspect learned her jogging route, he might have known where she lived.

If she had been abducted for money st 4.30am, surely a demand would have been made before the family have even noticed her missing?

Abduction for ransom seems to be super rare these days, as it's almost impossible to get away with. It does occur of course, but it tends to involve people who won't go to the police (gang members, and other criminal organizations).

They’re likely towing the vehicle so they can look at the computer and see where she’s been recently. Not sure about the garden shears, but maybe for fingerprints / DNA. Or maybe they have a gardner that didn’t show up to work today?

Absolutely agree on the vehicle. Those telematics can tell you a lot, as we've seen in past cases.

I have no theory on the garden shears.
