This case is so sad. You can see the joy in every picture with her beaming smile. This is every woman’s nightmare.

I don't understand how it's so serious that it can be an 80-year sentence, but not serious enough to lock him up immediately after it happened.
Or expedite the DNA testing.
I understand that there is a backlog of DNAs, but some of old criminals might be dead. It might be technically more time-consuming to work on old material, too. The backlog is huge, but I think these are two different lines of work, the old and the new material. Working with new DNA might be technically faster, too. So if the police had acted on all the information they had and were swift on the DNA test, Eliza would have been alive.

In a surprising turn of events - Cleotha Henderson - the man charged with kidnapping and killing Eliza Fletcher….is pleading guilty to charges including the murder of the mother/teacher in Sept 2022.

Just looked at this again and am really surprised there are no handcuffs or shackles on this guy….I don’t know the ins and outs of different court venues, but we’ve seen inmates who haven’t committed half the offenses he did wearing them. IMO, he should have the Hannibal mask on, too

Perhaps he's sporting an electric belt. Those go a long way toward keeping defendants from venturing into noncompliance. I can't fathom they'd leave him completely unshackled. Betting he's hotwired.

This one leaves me with such a sad spot in my heart. He should never have been free and Liza should be alive, fully immersed in her beautiful family.

Ahhh, I forgot about those belts, thanks….I’ll bet you’re right. It is gut wrenching for sure. So unnecessary on so many levels. Ugh.

They should activate that belt repeatedly at unpredictable intervals for the rest of his life.

Just learned the good news.
Good riddance to CH.
Justice for Eliza and her family.

Please don’t mind if I share this photo once again of Eliza.
If there is a jogging trail in heaven, I believe she’s on it..smiling.
