Maybe she's trying to send a message to the people that she knows read that FB.

I wonder if there are any pictures of the baby at Christmas time?

I feel like if there were, that someone (the owner of the photographic device) would be saying they'd seen her after December 11, and proffering that device as proof.

I wholeheartedly believe LE will get to the bottom of what happened. MB will ultimately be held responsible if she isn't able to produce Evelyn and data from her electronic devices will be telling IMO.

I think you're right. I bet the latest photo of Evelyn came from Grandma's cell phone and LE knows the date and time it was taken.

Plenty of people babysit their own family. I would never assume a babysitter was a hired outsider to the family.... it is just someone other than the parent(s) watching the child. Doesn’t even have to be a paid person.

Yes, but then you would just say “my sister is watching the baby” or “the baby is with my in-laws this weekend.” or even “my aunt is babysitting for us.” You normally wouldn’t say “x is with a babysitter” if the person watching the child is a close family member. JMO.

There's nothing to separate these two in my mind right now.

They're both rotten.

Either one could be behind EB's disappearance.

Or, alternatively, both of them could be.

Sorry just catching up...the arrests are only Evelyn's grandmother and grandmother's boyfriend, correct? And as far as we know the arrest may not even have anything to do with the missing child?

That she was sleeping in it? Meaning I assumed the photo wasn’t taken at her home? I’m not implying anything. Given that it isn’t an old photo, I wondered if maybe it was a photo sent to MB by “the babysitter” or something.

Plenty of people use a pack n play instead of a crib or bassinet, they’re portable, cheaper, take up less space if you’re in a small apartment, etc.

You can also have both.

We kept the pack & play with bassinet attachment up in our living room even though we had a crib in the nursery and a fancy bassinet in our bedroom for the whole first year.

Not that it particularly matters to me in terms of where this child currently is...I already know she was seen by someone reliable on Dec. 10.

No arrests yet for Evelyn's disappearance. The charge was theft of property over $2,500 in connection with the stolen BMW.

I agree with this.

I've even heard wives say that their husbands were at home "babysitting" the kids, which I find ludicrous myself, but there you go.

In some families, anybody watching the kids whose title isn't "Mom" is viewed as the "babysitter."

Oh you might be right. As I was killing brain cells reading the 1K comments on SM, I ran into MB’s that she didn’t release that photo and didn’t know who did. And that she sent in the photos she posted today, but LE didn’t use them.
