MB: I have a lot of them. Just that I don’t know that maybe they won’t find her tonight, or maybe they don’t find her tomorrow, maybe it’s weeks from now til they find her, you know the people aren’t going to be like ‘Oh well like I’m not giving her back ‘cause I’ve kept her for two months, this is my child now’.
Most of all I’m just worried they’re going to be angry about that, you know what I mean? She just needs to come home. She’s been away from her mom for long enough.

I agree! All the bathroom tissue shelves being empty at the local Wally World due to the coronavirus makes more sense than what MB is saying in this interview!

I have not finished reading the transcripts, but I noticed you bolded the phrase “If I’m being honest with you.” Which indicates she either isn’t being honest at all or at least is comparing it to a time when she was not being honest.

The only thing I can think of can be folded into #3 (&/or 2, in CAs case), and that is both claimed their baby's were with the sitter.

Both appear to be fiscally irresponsible.

Neither Father was active in their daughters life (this is not a knock to Ethan, just an observation!)

The Judge says he is concerned about her connections in VA/TX then he said “Especially” TX. I know that EP was stationed there, but now is in Louisiana. So, that makes me “Wonder” what connection she may have besides EP.

I am so glad MB did all these crappy interviews, I am sure they have helped the states case in the lying charges and later charges a lot.
The only truth she told so far is that Evelyn was wearing that pink tracksuit and so MB was the last to see her, the day she died, IMO. But then I wonder, did she dress her in the outfit before or after?
@Alethea can the interviews be used against her in court sessions for the lying to LE charges and possibly future charges such as murder?

I honestly think she didn’t think anyone would ever find her. She thought she was safe saying what she had on.

I’m always playing catch-up here. IMO the most incriminating statement we have heard MB say is during the interview where she said she was pregnant to the reporter.

When asked what she would like to tell everyone, she made the statements, 1) don’t trespass, and 2) if you see the clothes she was wearing don’t touch them.

She caught herself and then said of course if you see her get her and bring her home. (I’m paraphrasing).

That sealed the deal of her culpability, for me.

I think there are several enablers in this family. It’s my opinion that AB and MB habitually lie and family members just let it slide because it is easier than the drama that is created when they tried to call them out.

I do find it interesting that grandpa Jones believes everything AB tells him, but doesn’t believe MB. Especially since AB’s excuses are so geared to incite sympathy in someone. I would bet that’s how she has manipulated DJ all these years.

I think a key to this is knowing what all that “hanging out” actually was. It obviously wasn’t anything to do with EB or her remains. Were they really that stupid to think that keeping that body there in whatever state was a safe, long-term plan? Or were they in a state of mind where EB never came up in conversation between all of the parties present?

The more questions that arise, little bits of information comes out that sheds a little light on the multitude of lies that have been told by multiple parties. I’m thinking once this goes to a grand jury, we might see other people indicted in connection. There’s just no one involved in this that has spoken out that is remotely believable or sympathetic.

Knowing where little EB was found, I think they thought that was the perfect place to hide her. In their mind no one would look on TBsr’s land because he reported her missing and they “knew” there was no reason for LE to suspect him. (Keeping in mind we don’t know if she was in an out-building near MBs grandmother, brother, or dad’s home). MOO and all that stuff.

I got a horrible feeling the first time I heard the part about not touching her clothes if they were found.
IMO, the fact that she was found deceased in the exact thing she last dressed her in is all the proof I need that nobody else took Evelyn for any amount of time and that MB was present and responsible for the death of Evelyn.

Another super interesting breakdown- not sure if this person is qualified to interpret body language, etc., but I found it interesting nonetheless. MOO.

ETA: I do think there may be some inaccurate info as I continue to watch. The woman who recorded the video said that she believes that the person next to MB in the interview is MB's grandmother, but we now know that it was CB.
