TN - Five killed in shootings at 2 US military centers, Chattanooga, 16 July 2015

FBI Update: News Conference on TN Shootings:

They called the shooting "Violent Extremism"and stated they are not ready to call it terrorism--

*SMDH* PC has run dangerously amok in this country, clearly this shooter committed an act of terrorism against our Military in Chattanooga TN, and if we as a free and rational nation do not stand up and demand that everyone cut the damn bull and stop mincing words. For the love of all that is sacred start calling it what it is, because it is only then that we can effectively end these acts of terrorism (and war) on the homeland from escalating further.

They also reported the following...

A) One (possibly two) of the servicemen during the shooting, may have taken a shot/shots at gunman;
B) Two additional weapons, which belonged to service members, were found on the scene; one which had been fired;

Of course several reporters (CNN and NBC) questioned if any of the victims were hit with friendly fire (i.e., the fired weapon that didn't belong to the shooter), FBI states emphatically that all of the victims that were killed or injured were hit by the shooter's/terrorist's gunfire.

The news reporters were also questioning why servicemen had "personal" guns in a "no gun zone" to which the FBI punted, stating that this issue was not part of their investigation.

The absolute duplicity some in the news/media is so obvious and sometimes downright shocking--DEFLECT, DEFLECT, DEFLECT--do and say anything to avoid reporting that these are acts of terrorism

And I saw this.

When Abdulazeez first crashed through the gates in the Mustang, 20 Marines and two Navy corpsman were there inspecting their equipment after a training mission in California, Maj. Gen. Paul W. Brier, commanding general of the 4th Marine Division, said during a news conference.

Abdulazeez shot the first troop inside the building, Reinhold said, then moved through the building shooting at people he encountered. He came out through the back, continuing to shoot. In all, four service members were killed outside the building in the motor pool area.

Agree 100% about the PC gone amok in this country!
Gee, someone can be charged with "terroristic threats" for phone calls, etc...............I would think KILLING 5 might qualify as a terroristic act!

And yeah, violent homegrown extremism.....a key word this administration just can't seem to say is missing.

Come on people...

bbm. I hadn't read that before

Lead investigator; FBI Special Agent Reinhold said, there were between seven hundred and one thousand FBI Special Agents working this domestic terrorism investigation. This information speaks volumes, imo.. The early spring of year 2013 is likely when Abdulazeez became a radicalized jihadist lone wolf, imo..

The 07/16/2015 Chattanooga, TN massacre was not an impulsive decision brought on by a sudden depressed state, imo. Synonymous to many chameleonlike sadistic psychopaths prior, Abdulazeez, had two selves; a good self that he became when attempting to remain stealth, and morphing into his evil self when becoming a lone wolf jihadist soldier on a perpetual mission.. jmo

<BBM for Focus - snipped from linked article above>

Friends and neighbors recalled a happy, polite young man. But a picture has emerged showing Abdulazeez was troubled in his last days: He abused drugs and alcohol, stared down the possibility of bankruptcy and couldn't find a job. He failed a drug test in 2013, getting him fired from a job at a power plant, which prompted personal writings soon after lamenting what a failure he had been, according to his family.

An uncle in Jordan who agreed to host him in an effort to sober up Abdulazeez now is detained in that country, according to that man's attorney and a government official.

The Jordanian government official, who was not authorized to discuss the case and spoke on condition of anonymity, said investigators are trying to learn as much as they can about Abdulazeez's stay there.

“This could have been a lot worse,” said the official, who did not want to be identified because he was not authorized to discuss the investigation. “It could have been a horrible, horrible massacre — so much worse.”

"“There were hundreds of rounds fired” by Mr. Abdulazeez and the Chattanooga police, said the law enforcement official who spoke on the condition of anonymity, making for an unusually complex forensics effort to piece together what happened. He said that Mr. Abdulazeez used a derivative of an AK-47 assault rifle."

“The F.B.I. will explore every possibility and every relative that he has, no matter where they are located,” Mr. Reinhold said.

A Marine recruiter was shot in Chattanooga. He’s still playing the ‘what-if’ game.

"Recruiting Substation Chattanooga had four other Marines in it at the time of the attack, Cheeley said: A gunnery sergeant, a staff sergeant, another sergeant and a lance corporal. He went back to the crime scene Sunday night to pick up some personal items, and found the office in disarray.

“We all talked about what we all went through and are trying to keep high spirits, but as far as going into details about it, we’ve been running ourselves ragged playing the what-if game for this,” Cheeley said. “We’re trying to just keep in high spirits.”"

Hopefully, semantics won't get in the way of looking at what connects this disturbed seeming individual and his shameless hateful act to his inspirations or puppeteers? It doesn't change the fact those who would laud him exist, others who could encourage him and others like him to act exist, others still, who may have had a chance to use him or not, exist, or that there may be more like him exposed to the same messed up asinine exhortations who may act on them.

From this article a couple of things stood out for me

An uncle in Jordan who agreed to host him in an effort to sober up Abdulazeez now is detained in that country, according to that man's attorney and a government official.

I wonder where this information (that he was sent to Jordan to "sober up") came from? It seems to me that logically it could only have come from the family. Jordan is one of the few countries in that region where alcohol is not illegal (Syria is another). Not only is it legal it is plentiful therefore the notion that he was sent to Jordan to "sober up" strikes me as an outright lie IMO.

"The uncle is a regular person, he has a company, he is a businessman, he has no relation with any militant group or organization," said Abed al-Kader Ahmad al-Khateeb, the attorney representing Asaad Ibrahim Asaad Haj Ali. "He cares about his work and his family, and Muhammad is just his relative, the son of his sister. That's it."

Lets connect some dots!

Abed al-Kader Ahmad al-Khateeb (the lawyer for the uncle) is a prominent attorney and member of the Freedom Committee of the Muslim Brotherhood, the oldest and largest opposition group in Jordan. The Brotherhood is part of a regional movement of the same name.

source: http://news.yahoo.com/chattanooga-shooter-possibly-troubled-motive-mystery-082844786.html

The Muslim Brotherhood is an Islamist organization that has provided funding to terrorist groups such as Hamas, it is outlawed in many countries including Egypt which is where the group was founded. The Brotherhood is in the United States and works through a series of front organizations. It was considered an outlawed organization in the U.S. prior to the election of Barack Obama who has subsequently met with Muslim Brotherhood leaders in the Whitehouse. Source: http://www.clarionproject.org/analysis/obama-meets-us-muslim-brotherhood-leaders

For more information on the Muslim Brotherhood read this comprehensive report from the Clarion Project:

http://www.clarionproject.org/sites/default/files/Muslim-Brotherhood-Special-Report.pdf

The introduction will tell you all you need to know about this organization:

The Muslim Brotherhood (Al-Ihkwan al-Muslimun) has emerged over the past century as one of
the world's leading Islamist organizations
. It is a Sunni, pan-Islamic organization based in Cairo,
Egypt1whose ultimate aim is the re-establishment of the global Islamic caliphate.
2 The
organization is not a religious sect. Rather, the Brotherhood is a sophisticated social and political
organization seeking an all-encompassing role for Islam in the lives of its members and in the
broader society based on their interpretation of Quran and the Sunna (tradition). 3 4
The movement has a violent ideology as expressed in its support for jihad (holy war) against nonbelievers
and in its desire to implement the hudud (punishments) proscribed by sharia (Islamic
law)5, but it has adopted a public policy of non-violence as part of its long-term gradualist strategy
in order to achieve its goals.6
Until recently, the Brotherhood’s motto published publically was: “Allah is our objective. The
prophet is our exemplar. The Quran is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our
highest hope.”
This motto is no longer displayed on official Ikhwan (Brotherhood) publications.

Was the uncle in Jordan a member of the Muslim Brotherhood? If not why does he have a prominent member as his lawyer? Was the father a member of one of the many MB front organizations in the U.S. (e.g. CAIR, ISNA). Is this why he was on the terrorist watch list up until 2008 (I wonder what happened in 2008 to cause his name to come off the list? hmmmm)

FBI Director Sees Increasing Terrorist Interest in Cyberattacks Against U.S.
Plotting appears to be in early stages, James Comey tells Aspen Security Forum
By Damian Palettta, The Wall Street Journal

[... the groups have]

Al Qaeda,... spend much more time scrutinizing someone’s background and loyalty, sending potential recruits out on small-scale missions to gauge their competence.

Islamic State militants show much less discretion, he said, targeting “often unstable, troubled drug users” to carry out attacks anywhere in the U.S. He wouldn’t say, though, whether the Chattanooga shooter was influenced by either militant group, saying instead that the FBI is still combing through his past and his network of contacts.

[... Dir. Comey stated]

"there is one near-universal theme in recent domestic terrorist plots that he said troubles law-enforcement officials, and he appealed for help."

"In nearly every case…someone saw something and they didn’t tell somebody," he said, warning that family members or friends of people considering terrorist attacks noticed signs but didn’t alert law enforcement or other authorities.

By blending terrorist activity online with cyber rabble-rousing, ISIS has melded these two trends to create a serious threat. It’s not just the group’s capacity to instigate on the Internet that makes the threat so formidable threat. Where ISIS gets “value added” is by linking online communities with human ones—connecting people who have a propensity to act with a supportive and inspiring cyber-support group.

A great article from the Boston Herald on this topic:

http://www.bostonherald.com/news_op...07/howie_carr_trace_terrorists_to_ted_kennedy

According to the Office of Refugee Resettlement, Arabic has become the most common language among refugees. Among refugees from the Middle East, 91 percent are on welfare, collecting food stamps.

What could possibly go wrong?

Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez was another of those “naturalized citizens,” like the Joker, Nidel Ayyad, Ali Mohammed, Khalid Abu Al Dahab. Under Ted Kennedy’s immigration system, others jihadis collected green cards: Mahmed Abouhalima, Mohammed Saleh, Diddig Ibrahim Siddig Ali.

The names all run together now, don’t they? Every week or two, the feds lug another Uzbek, or Pakistani, or Yemeni, or Syrian. And the news is always covered, or should I say covered up, the same way:

“Homegrown … lone wolf … motives a mystery … All-American boy … tousle-haired.”

As Mark Steyn wrote, “These days whenever something goofy turns up on the news, chances are it involves some fellow named Mohammed.”

It took less than 24 hours to learn that this latest Mohammod had a “troubled background.” No doubt he was likewise an aspiring rapper, turning his life around.

That is not correct. NO civilian was injured at the recruiting center.

In the back room of the Army recruiting office, Dodge and his people stayed hidden for another five to seven minutes. No one from his group was injured.
But the gunfire did wound a Marine recruiter, one of five in the Marine's recruiting office, said U.S. Marine Corp. Maj. Gen. Paul Brier. The recruiter, who has not been identified, has since been treated and released from a local hospital.

Is there another link corroborating that early statement by a bystander?

Toscano Italian Grill co-owner Mohamed Elbardissy heard shots and saw the shooter drive away at high speed.
"He was driving a silver, convertible Mustang — a white guy," Elbardissy said.
"One of the guys, he got shot in his leg," Elbardissy said. "[The victim] was trying to join the Navy."

It’s possible that the witness from the restaurant next door was mistaken during what I’m sure was a very frightening time.

The link I posted was from today.

Quick search again mentions the injured as a Recruiter.

The two surviving wounded are a Marine recruiter who was shot in the leg and a responding Chattanooga police officer, Dennis Pedigo, who was shot in the ankle.
