I am surprised NG has not picked up on Holly's apparent abduction by now...she does love the cases with the young blond girls. Sooner she grabs hold, more chance she may do some good...

Is this the school she was attending http://www.utm.edu/departments/ecce/parsons.php#courses ? If it is, I don't think the campus is very big at all. It's a satellite campus for UT Martin. According to these Parsons City Council meeting minutes from 2008, at the time they had 150 students.

Hopefully LE has, or is, checking to see what students/faculty were not in attendance the day Holly was abducted. It would at least be a way to rule out if someone from the school that may have been obsessed with her was involved.

Also, has anyone read whether or not Holly had a job? That could be another place someone could have come into contact with her.

At the colleges my husband and I attended, attendance was only taken on final and midterm days. There was just too many students, and the professors were all about personal accountability.
I'm not even sure how they would know if there was missing students.

Mom was just on the local news. They are talking about blood in the driveway. Also saying an hour passed Between her abduction and the 911 call. Brother thought it was the boyfriend in the woods but now they are saying it wasn't him.

True.......I guess they're not like HS.....they don't care whether you show up or not. It's a small campus though so at least LE doesn't have thousands of people to interview. I would imagine they'll be doing some questioning at the school though.

Apparently she didn't sense she was in any kind of danger or had someone watching her or acting strange......seems like she was close to her family and would have mentioned it to them if she was "aware" someone might have been stalking her or making her feel uncomfortable.

This is a small town and if in fact they do have a brief description of the get away vehicle, it should be a bit easier to locate those owners with that type of vehicle. Perhaps why the LE are not releasing too much info as they have an idea of who it may be or may be in the process of elimination.

Now, that's a bit weird. Boyfriend or not, why didn't the brother call 911 immediately?

there was blood in the carport, they were threatened with harm to Holly if followed, brother followed them to the edge of the woods... why would he think it was the boyfriend and even IF he thought it was her boyfriend.. why wouldn't he think she was in danger and call 911.. something smells here guys....

Having just read an hour elapsed before the 911 call the hairs on the back of my neck are standing up and I cannot say what I am thinking...

WTH! An hour passed before her brother called 911? Why not right away?

Bizarre to say the least.

If the brother was threatened, why did he wait to call 911? That does not make any sense at all. He felt too threatened to help, yet he did not fear for his sister?? How old is this brother?

brother is 25; WHY in the heck would you WAIT a whole HOUR to call 911?

and why didn't brother think it was strange that the "boyfriend" was dragging Holly off into the woods & threatening harm to her if he followed?

Either he was so traumatized by the event that he could not think straight enough to call 911 right away.

I really have a bad feeling about this one.

Sadly, if harm has come to his sister, he will be thinking about this for the rest of his life and wishing he did call 911 right away.
