Not to be rude, but what were they focusing on the other days? (..."what we're focusing on this weekend is finding Holly and bringing her home..." )

I'm with you... and why is it the next 48 hours could make all the difference? Strange...

I think LE is hopeful they will have a huge turnout this weekend of volunteers... perhaps they are fairly confident she is in that area??

IDK.. it is sort of strange

I think this weekend is the last big push unless further clues surface. They said something yesterday about going "nationwide" (whatever that means) after Sunday. So I fear they really do not know...she could be around the area, or she could be anywhere...

Sorry if this was posted already, there is alot of good info here about Holly:

Friends describe Bobo as bright and selfless
'Holly is sunshine,' former teacher says of missing woman

PARSONS — Holly Bobo would be among the scores of volunteers out searching for someone who is missing, say those who know the nursing student from Decatur County. Instead, it’s the 20-year-old who has been the focus of a search since being reported missing earlier this month.

Bobo’s personality has been described by those who know her as being as bright as the pink ribbons being worn in her honor as the search hits day 11. She sings in church, is athletic and was named the most talented and creative at the high school where she graduated in the top 10 of her class.

I dont think they will find her unless they find a suspect that can tell them where she is.. One day someone walking thru the woods or some one walking their dog, campers or hunters someone will find her. It may not be tomorrow or even next year but maybe one day.. JMO

In my opinion, I think LE and her family knows who did this. Isn't it ironic too that a day after the blood results were in that LE had roadblocks up for two days?

I think LE is on the trail but it is a matter of finding Holly. IMO

Maybe I hope so just wish whomever did this would do the right thing and tell where he put her!

I fully believe that she is alive as well, but LE is afraid if they apprehend the poi/suspect, the person will never give up her location. I also think this is why the family is not out in public speaking about this -- As a mom, frantic about my daughters well being, I know that I would "mess up" and possibly say something that LE asked me not to, purely out of desperation. There are clearly reasons that they have not released the 911 call, brought the brother out to speak of what he saw, given details about evidence collected, etc. JMO

Im confused in all this.. If they have a POI or a suspect u think they are just following him around? Not questioning him?

the news media seems to be on to some 'rumblings' per will's twitter...

yesterday TBI wouldn't comment when they asked about any detainments.

I think they are questioning a lot of different people. I also think they do have a person(s) in mind. I think it's safe to say that they have known about things like the cell ping... However, I think they only release bits and pieces to stress the person they are watching out. Maybe the individual who did this, believed that his plan was fool-proof, which most do, and now hears how they found certain items belonging to Holly -- then set up roadblocks, then say her phone pinged a mile from her home. I am sure to the perp, all of this becomes extraordinarily stressful. It's much easier to sit back and watch as the perp starts making big mistakes and has rather large lapses in judgement, as opposed to running around a heavily wooded county, on a wild goose chase.

Usually, the family, friend's, classmate's, etc are out giving news interviews... This whole town has shut down to that, so it seems. LE and the family know far more than they are telling.

Just out of curiosity, how far was Elizabeth Smart from her home when she was found?

This guy either doesn't work or works shift work, like mid-shifts. Are there any factory's or places besides wal-mart that would have workers for Mid-Shifts?

I don't know how to do a poll but it seems to me that many of us ol' timers on here all feel about the same about this case.

1) This was a well planned abduction, the result of an obsession
2) Brother and boyfriend aren't involved
3) Perp is someone local who was on the periphery of Holly's life
4) We feel there is a good chance Holly is still alive
5) The perp is an adult at least in his middle 20's but probably older (I lean towards 30's)
6) Probably not the perp's first crime
7) Perp has been involved in the searches

Please feel free to add to this list, disagree, do a poll, whatever...

1) This was an accident
2) Brother did it
3) Perp is local and close to Holly
4) Holly is not alive
5) Perp is a little older than Holly
6) This is his first crime
7) Searches... has he been involved?

I feel like we're playing Clue, so just thought I'd throw that scenario out there. Not necessarily MOO.

Five Forks road is a long road, any particular area on that road? Was looking at the map to get my bearings.

If they have a POI and are watching him if he hasnt gone to check on Holly in all this time thats telling them something.. Hes not gonna lead them too her.
Right? Just a thought! LOL

Im not being rude or anything i just think we are missing something here.

We are all confused and we all have so many diff theories.

I do not think the brother did it because I'm sure since HB was reported missing he hasn't been out of his parents site or anyone's for a second. If this is the case how do we explain the findings of lunch box, and other items?

Where does he work, what roads does he travel, has he been back to work since this happened, has LE had him tailed? MOO and thank you for your MOO

Lera - Why do you think that about the perp doing a shift-work type schedule?
That's an interesting speculation. And for my 2 cents: besides Wal-Mart or a factory, direct support care staff at a nursing home would likely work shifts.

I am just saying that Beentherebefore has put it succinctly and logically. And no I don't think you are rude at all lol. You are inquisitive and that is a good thing.
