Per WN:

THP: ATVS are needed to head out on yellow springs rd at I-40. 25 volunteers just answered the call, and are headed that way.

I do have a bit of a question about that. So the brother thought he saw her with her bf so he thought at first she was going turkey hunting right?
Do her ex and current beau look similar?
Sorry havent looked at pics yet?

She was going to School not turky hunting!

Maybe he thought she was talking ot him and the bf was going hunting!

I hope they have searched the homes in this area!

Ummm...hundreds of people in the woods, if some have guns, sounds pretty scary to me...

my point was that everyone doesn't think alike. and hundreds of people in the woods with some armed with guns, you find it scary and I find it not scary.

Well i think this Will Nunley guy is doing a bang up JOB. he seems to keep it real and keep us informed.

I COMPLETELY agree and he has even answered a question I directly asked him regarding the missing searcher. He's really putting everything into it and is very helpful! I'm going to write his station a letter of how great he's been doing on this.

Agreed! It's pretty early on and they have already ruled out the brother and the boyfriend as suspects. Based on the facts we have, it would seem premature to do that. I think it means they have a lot more information than we know. You make a really good point about the blood. There's an eery similarity here to a book I read recently called Still Missing, by Chevy Stevens. Anyone read it? I'm terrified by what has happened to this poor girl and my heart breaks for her family and friends but I think she is alive. This sounds like something that was planned and calculated for a long time (i.e. surveilling the family, planning a get-away, etc.). I think it sounds more like someone who took her to keep. I hope they find her soon!

I keep thinking of the triple murder in Ohio (the tree... :() yet finding the 12-yr-old girl alive. I hope Holly is safe and will be found as well.

:praying:

Someone should probably point out once every few pages or so (guess I'll take my turn now) that there is NO CONFIRMATION that there is any ex-boyfriend that even exists. There is NO CONFIRMATION that there is a restraining order against anyone at all. That is purely a rumor with no foundation given for where the information came from at all. The person who wrote it in a blog does not have any connection of any kind with the family or with LE or any main stream media source.

I think it was posted somewhere that he thought they were both going hunting as he saw them walking into the woods. I believe it was The Examiner article?

per WN:

A busload of volunteers cheer with encouragement as they drive away, preparing to tackle the woods ahead of them

Ohhhh OK!

But heres another thing, what if this guy hurt her and left her out there he goes home and then goes out on this massive search pretending to look for her, It has happend many times...

Goodness i think i have watched tooo many Criminal Minds episodes LOL

Yes, similiar to the fact that you have a perp that is probably very familiar with the area. And having such a great turn out for searchers. M. Hoffman brought me to WS. Knox County was so supportive of LE and family and they had great investigative reporters on local news. I despise him, but am glad to be part of WS.

Praying hard that Holly "will walk back through her families door"...

Yes, Will Nunley (who is at the scene) reported at least 900.

You're right. I don't recall one mention of an ex so far. Wouldn't be surprised if there is one though. I really hope there isn't one though. If the brother, the boyfriend and no-ex aren't the culprit.....who the heck is? It's gotta be someone that travels the road she lives on or someone in town/at school she knows. Where they live is very very remote looking. The whole area is remote looking for that matter. A few tiny towns around but not much more than that.

Maybe if he does know her, he went there, hoping she would talk to him, and then it turned bad. And if so, maybe he is just talking to her, trying to convince her to take him back. i.e.

(Many years ago, I was trapped in an apartment with an ex for nine hours as he ranted, raved and threatened...and finally let me leave...)

can anyone bump up Hollye's map? ((tia... I knew I should have bookmarked it!!!)) I am wondering how the fairgrounds are from the earlier gooch road area etc..

I realize with 900 volunteers they need a large central staging area but I wonder what are they are headed into via bus to search...

Ok they are going towards I40. Very interesting.
They have found something else of interest, IMHO.
I do believe this person took Holly to keep for as long as he can.
I don't believe she is dead but very alive.
I think he sees her as a trophy and a prize, not something (should be "someone") to be harmed.
I don't think he wants to give her up and will do whatever it takes to keep her with him wherever he ends up.
Some places he might end up Holly would never have to go, however.
I think this is a grown man, not someone as young as Holly.
He has surveilled her for quite some time, maybe even with night vision since her home is isolated and surrounded with dense woods.
The snakes are out. I wonder how close he has gotten to the Tennessee river?
Boats are an easy escape.
I am rambling now when I should just shut up.
Just saying I believe they just found another planted clue.
Towards I40.
