I bet most of the volunteers from today will be there tomorrow along with many others.......

God bless all of them.

so the "rally point" of the search is still the church...

just to make note of it..

the fairgrounds are seemed to be being used for the cars of the 1000 searchers! God speed to you all who are helping to find Holly.

When the wind dies down a little the helicopters go up. Weather is passing quickly.
Not all communications are trunked.

I dunno if the authorities will even allow that without escorts.

I understand. I just meant that given the amount of people who turned out for this search, and I bet there are lots of little groups of friends who know this area really well (hunting, living there, etc) who will go out on their own to continue without asking for permission..........

I bet a lot of locals will be out there on their properties with night goggles searching....it seems that most people hunt in the area....that community of 2400 is not going to give up due to weather!!! God love 'em!!!

C'mon Holly, come home.....

:innocent:Told WS they were all about to be fed.
So glad the weather cooled things down so that the nitevision devices on helicopters will work better.
There are a lot of small caves in that area especially near the river.
If a person is inside something like that, I don't think the helis would pick it up, but surely dogs would.
My brother and his friends will be staying in the woods all night. They usually do when they go hunting, but they have ample supplies and a shelter they put up.
It's his birthday and he took the weekend off to hunt with his buddies.
Lots of other people did too.
Come on Holly, hold on!

God they are within 15 miles of LadyFinger Bluffs and Mousetail Landing. The Tennessee River is very very close. When they say Darden they might as well say Lexington/Parsons/Linden!

Makes me wonder why this case may have a happy ending but SO SO many others do not.

it almost does not seem fair. :(

the authorities have no recourse. there is nothing illegal about being outside at night.

It's probably not a good idea to try to search at night and may even be next to impossible. Plus.....the searchers are going to need to rest. I just hope all the people searching are mindful not to disturb ANYTHING that looks like it could possibly be evidence in this case. Wonder what organization they have in place with that and if there's any protocol established with the 100's of searchers??? Wow.....it's so amazing there's so many of them searching. I think she's still alive. Hang In There Holly......don't give up.

This article says the lunchbox was found but LE won't say where, yet on the prior page of this website, where you click to get to this story, it says lunchbox was found by searchers on the side of a road...

That would change things, if true, it could have been tossed from a car...?

Authorities said they have discovered the lunchbox belonging to a missing woman in Decatur County. Search crews found the item on the side of the road on Friday. More>>

I will. He is in tears. He has my parents only grandchild.
She is a 21 year old nursing student. His daughter.
No one will make these people quit looking for Holly.
Not night. No rain.
When I look at Holly I see my niece.
So does he.

If there is one thing I can say about the people of Tennessee, especially small town Tennessee, it's that they step up. We all stepped up when we had the flood, and now we are stepping up to find Holly. We take a lot of flack for being backwoods and rednecks, but I would want the same fine people looking if it were me.
