I'm getting a little worried. Thinking if LE/friends/family/school chums haven't been able to provide LE with a possible suspect (since there's not an APB out) this could get hairy. IF it's a stranger (which I'm praying it's not) then the odds of her recovery alive start dropping drastically.

What kind of creepo fillipo rides around on rural, remote back roads? Even if a guy does that.....what are his odds of finding a victim he wants??? It doesn't seem logical to me. It's a local......imo.

I'm thinking it is a stranger. I don't know who else it could be.

Like i said earlier i wonder if they tested the blood they found to see if it was hers or was it the mans that took her?

she was studying to be a nurse. Maybe this guy knew that and needed medical attention?

I wonder if there were any shootings around there wed morn or tues evening?

Just a thought peeps just a thought!

her odds have already gone down, they say 24 hours is the most crucial in a missing person's case.

she's been missing for 2 days already. that is 2 days too long.

and LE does not have a good description of the perp; not good at all :(

sorry if i sound mean, i'm trying to be realistic.

i'm hoping for the best but fearing the worst.

If there is one thing I can say about the people of Tennessee, especially small town Tennessee, it's that they step up. We all stepped up when we had the flood, and now we are stepping up to find Holly. We take a lot of flack for being backwoods and rednecks, but I would want the same fine people looking if it were me.
aaawww southern don't feel bad no. I'm in Louisiana now (for decades) and this place catches hell in the media. I guess we are a little "backwards" on some things but......for the most part.....we're riding at the front of the bus. Just because places may be rural doesn't mean they're backwoods or out of the loop. I think MOST places in the US now have some semblance of internet connection which = knowledge.

I agree, and am also a former New Orleanian :)

I am 99.99% certain that this is a local who has kidnapped Holly....that this person knows her or her family.
Surely LE and/or locals KNOW that there is another person missing....that someone's vehicle has been missing since Friday morning. This is a pretty small town and an even smaller circle of people who know this family.

So, why isn't LE telling the public that they are seeking "Bob Davis" (or whatever his name is)? And, if they want to keep his name private, why not at least give his stats so that people have more specifics.
I can't possibly see how some stranger would just stumble randomly upon this house and abduct the daughter at exactly the right time......so, I think LE is well aware of who this guy is. MOO>

They have GPS watches and other small devices. I've looked for something smaller... (Yes, we have two GPS trackers but not a small one. I was trying to think of something that an abductor wouldn't notice and so wouldn't throw it away, kwim? The watches are kinda huge, IMO.)

Scanner dispatches are not allowed in the public forums. This is my second warning and I won't be warning again.

If it is a stranger, I think he took her away in a car, tossing the lunchbox out on the way, or she did, if she could. That would not be good, as obviously they could be anywhere.

But if it is someone that LE is aware of, they should know by now if he has access to a cabin or hunting place of some sort, etc...also vehicle description should have been issued, if he has one. They can't afford to hold back that type of info if they don't know where she is.

To me, it feels like they are searching in desperation mode, rather than based on real info, but I hope I am wrong, of course.

I definitely don't think this was random. LE has a list of who she goes to school with, who she goes to church with, who her friends are, who is friends with her friends, family friends, friends of family friends, etc. etc and going over all with a fine tooth comb.

(CBS/WREG/AP) PARSONS, Tenn. - Investigators now say the brother of missing Tennessee nursing student Holly Bobo did not see her being dragged from her home, and that they believe the 20-year-old was afraid for her life when she walked into the woods near her home with a man.

"He actually had an arm holding her, so we feel that she knew that she was in fear of her life. So she was complying with his demands," said John Mehr, an agent with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, reports CBS affiliate WREG.
I am thoroughly confused now :waitasec:. The brother did not see her being dragged to the woods AND YET....."someone" is stating "he (whoever he is) had an arm holding her"????? Get this sorted out MEDIA!!! I'm also hoping there isn't this much confusion around the search sites.
