Yes, they had some leads, but police had cleared the friend and never bothered to search the place he was really living. I honestly believe that if the private investigators had not gotten involved, LE would never had put that case together, never found Kate and never brought her killers to justice. I don't even think they would have pursued the forged checks!

I have heard of the worldwide team you are referring to as well. Their name escapes me. Somebody needs to get behind this case. Sometimes you may just need some fresh eyes.

Please read some previous posts and threads in the Holly Bobo forum. We've been discussing the use of a P.I. or P.I.'s, particular individuals who are really good at what they do, from what we've studied.

The part I bolded above, is probably the Vidocq Society.

Also, you may have noticed that some of us have several thousand posts under our belts on Websleuths alone. Several of us are transfers from other crime discussion boards, prior to joining ws.

There are other ideas posted in prior threads. This is #29.

Help me out with the timeline folks. It's just not adding up for me. Clint wakes up at 7:50. By 8:00 cops were there and so was Karen? Also, Drew was at work by 8:00. Karen said it can't be Drew. 15- 20 minutes earlier he was hunting with his dad on grandmas property and by 8:00 he was at work ready to start his day job? Why all the phone calls by Holly, Karen and Drew?

I think Prancy was just responding to my post. I don't see anything stated by P that indicates he/she has not been following the case...

According to this latest article, there is a puddle of blood near Holly's car, and it also stated that Clint was armed with a loaded pistol because KB told him to go get the gun. Interesting.

Just read the article from the Jackson Sun. Glad to see we some facts, but a couple questions come to mind.

From the interview recently, we know CB talked to KB on the phone at least twice that morning. Once when HB and unknown person were in the garage/carport, and one as they were walking away.

In the recent article, I read "When Clint answered the phone he said Holly’s car was still at the house.“At that point I knew something was wrong because Holly should have already gone to school,” "

I can only assume that is during the first phone call because later in the article it states KB "called the house again, and Clint told her that Holly and Drew were out at the edge of the yard walking toward the woods."

So, If during the first conversation, KB knows something is wrong, and they are in the garage, why doesn't CB go out there or atleast watch them the entire time.

BTW, why in todays article it does not mention CB talking to KB while the two were in the garage. Why no mention of CB hearing voices and asking him mom who they were.

I am afraid even with all this new information, we are still not getting the entire story.

Other than mentioning the dog woke him up, the dog seems to be absent from the scene.

If he is looking out of a presumably backdoor with window inset that looks into the garage, what is the dog doing? Would he not be there scratching and barking still? Wouldn't HB be darting glances at the door in hopes that the incessant barking has woken her brother?

It never says he has a hand to her mouth or anything, no weapon, so why did she stop screaming?

None of his actions, nor her actions, nor the alleged abductor's actions, nor anyone else mentioned in this case make any sense...still...even with new telling six months later.

I just read the entire article mentioned and am scratching my head. Why weren't some of these activities brought out in their TV interview? Gun???? I can't imagine why CB didn't tell this on screen. I can't see that LE would have objected to the telling of that little detail! How did Drew get from the early morning turkey hunt, which according to the article, was several miles away, to work at 8:00am? There just seems to be so many confusing statements made to an already confusing case.

BTW.....It has always been my theory that this was some tragic accident. I posted my theory in the basement. I continue to believe it was and the recent Jackson Sun article (not published on MSM yet but on another site) further reinforces my belief.

Where's the basement, n/t?

This post not directed at you, goldiegirl- or anyone else. Just using your statement to jump off of.

Holly's case has been 'real' right from the start.
It has been confirmed 'real' by local, state, and federal LE.

Sure wish people would utilize that fact when sleuthing- it's what will help bring Holly home.

I didn't mean real as in I thought it didn't happen, I'm saying it gave me a sense of what it was like to be there.

Thanks for putting that together for us. The 7:50 to 8:00 makes absolutely no sense.

Sure a lot going on in that 10 minutes!

Perp is with Holly for 10 minutes before they walk side by side into the woods. If Clint woke up at 7:50, when did he see them in the garage kneeling?

Why in the world do we have so many versions of that morning?? Something seriously stinks.

~nt~, your theory about the tragic accident is the most logical one I have read. It makes sense when you apply the facts that we know.

Very sad.

When I read about Karen falling to the floor at school because of panic and grief, it sounded like a mother who knew "something" had happened already.

BBM I can only speak for what I would have done in that situation, but I would have sped home as fast as possible not taking time to do anything other than call 911 or Clint. And I would have done that calling while driving not taking time to grieve at the school.

Well concentric, good for you ( and others) to" have several thousands of posts under your belts on Websleuths alone". I would think the rest of us with many less posts then that, are still entitled to our opinion. Some of those opinions will have been posted before, but with thousands of posts under your belt , I guess that will have to be expected.

Think you could have worded you comment a little better, though.

I'm stunned Karen left her cell @ school. In my mind that was a lifeline to Holly. I don't think I would have ever taken it out of my hands. How could Holly call her if she didn't have the phone? Did she call? Will we ever know?

Karen rode back to her house with a friend and used the friend's phone. I am guessing the LE retrieved karen's phone from the school but in this case, one never knows. I would have made the friend drive back to get it once I realized I didn't have it. Were any calls made by her to someone at the school to check her phone to see if Holly called?:waitasec:

Why does Clint call Holly's phone when he sees her walking into the woods? Why didn't he just walk out with his loaded gun and call out for her? He then goes on to say that he called Drew's phone and he didn't get a reply there either so he figured they were together? His mom had just told him it wasn't Drew. But then again, how was Karen so sure it wasn't Drew? Did he ever get permission to hunt on grandmas land? If he did, he had a whole 5 minutes. He shows up at work at 8. Wow.
:sigh:
