According to this latest article, there is a puddle of blood near Holly's car, and it also stated that Clint was armed with a loaded pistol because KB told him to go get the gun. Interesting.

JMO

Yep, Clint said small puddle of blood. When there is a puddle of blood, there is a trail. If there was no trail, I am suggesting that was the last place she was. She may have been put in a vehicle at this time.

BUT we don't know if there wasn't a trail....no one has said. :banghead:

So if it was a tragic accident, then who placed the evidence around town?

So the coverup would be the actual crime?

I'm stunned Karen left her cell @ school. In my mind that was a lifeline to Holly. I don't think I would have ever taken it out of my hands. How could Holly call her if she didn't have the phone? Did she call? Will we ever know?

Karen rode back to her house with a friend and used the friend's phone. I am guessing the LE retrieved karen's phone from the school but in this case, one never knows. I would have made the friend drive back to get it once I realized I didn't have it. Were any calls made by her to someone at the school to check her phone to see if Holly called?:waitasec:

Very true!! Her cell phone was the closest thing to Holly she could have gotten. I know at school principals frown on having a phone on you but wonder why she didn't go get it out of her room unless the cafeteria and library were a long ways from there. Small school so I wouldn't think it was that far.

Was Clint very close friends with Drew and Drew's brother? I see there are some PICS of the three of them....all showing off their kills.

Seems to me there was a lot of fear and/or suspicion in that family the morning Holly went missing. It also seems Clint does a lot of calling and not much else.

What I don't know is if Holly tossed her stuff out of the car near her school (to say "Good Riddance") or the perp tossed the stuff out to say, "She's not coming back"

Clint said he talked to Drew the night before and Drew said he was going hunting the 13th. Not sure if that was in person at their house or if they called each other.

I didn't know that...hmmm..:waiting:

Not sure about the brother but he was friends with Drew. He mentioned it in one of the interviews. They would go four wheeling together on weekends, IIRC. He knew Drew was going hunting that morning but didn't know it was at grandmas. I guess Drew forgot to tell him where.

I'm puzzled at the response Clint gave to JVM when she asked about seeing the turkey in the garage when he looked there (which he knew by now was a not a possibility.

Clint says, "it was gone". WTH does that mean? If there was no turkey there at all, why would he say it was gone?

People keep telling me they talk differently down there. This is clearly thinking differently...it made no sense. If it was never there, why did he say it was gone?

I am still sticking with my thinking that Clint was not in the house when this went down.

Well, for some reason, Clint believed it was at Swan Johnson Rd, because he makes reference to seeing what he thought was Drew, in full camo.

Lots of phone calls between Holly, Drew and Karen over a hunting misunderstanding. I would've just given up. Maybe he did. Who knows.

Anyone know Clint's schedule? I read that he worked ngihts at the nursing home in Parsons. True?

If it weren't for the call from Hannah from her land line to Holly's cell, other than family, we would not know of Holly's well being that morning. But, since Hannah did speak to Holly around 7am we know whatever happened to her had to happen after 7am. If that was Holly screaming at 7:40am then that only leaves 20 minutes time until the first deputy comes. Enough time to take Holly and leave the area though.

LE may even have passed them on the road...

Poor, Holly! Can you imagine if she saw them??

All of the LE (and others) who arrived on the scene early that morning should be hypnotized to recall that drive and summon up memories of any vehicles they passed...only half kidding...

I seem to play devil's advocate to your posts often, it must mean I like them.^^
So once again to flip it around, what if the abductor was one of the responders to the Bobo home that morning to help look or part of early search teams? This is not a new idea to the forum, but it is hard to know with any certainty if there was ANY trace of the direction HB actually went. All the rumors about no blood trail, no shoe prints, dogs couldn't track, etc...Add in the TBI director at one time said it was as if she was spirited away. All we know is that CB has said they were going north when he saw them.
Really though, what are the options?
-She was put into vehicle close to home and escaped the entire area completely undetected (medium risk of being spotted by somebody as being in the area heading away from the scene, once you are out of the area low chance of being detected unless LE was looking for you already. Possibility the vehicle is seen and there is a search for an unidentified vehicle.)
-Stashed away locally and the abductor blended right back into the community (would be a community member involved, medium risk of being seen leaving the immediate area but an excuse to be in the general area, tightens up alibi. Would need a place to hide her quickly, needs to probably be in the general area of the town.)
-Taken into the woods (logging trail) and the abductor had a perfect route planned (would need to be bold and confident in this plan, as well as a luck factor. Could plan where you will exit the woods, but at some point you would need a vehicle handy unless the plan was to hide in the woods indefinitely. Bottom line is this type of plan is really hard to gauge.)
-She ran away and made an elaborate plan to have herself kidnapped (not likely at this point)

Any other ideas just toss them out there.

And I think the timeline pretty much absolves the family of suspicion. With mom and dad at work and boyfriend on the other side of the county I just don't see any way Clint could have done anything in such a short time span. I hadn't seen any reason to really suspect the family before and I see even less now.

The bottom line to me is that all of this we have learned from the family doesn't really mean anything unless Clint can eventually remember that he's seen the guy who walked Holly into the woods before. Like Elizabeth Smart's sister did with her abductor. Otherwise there is probably nothing we've heard so far that can crack the case.
