I'm getting the impression that LE has an interest in correcting certain misinformation with regard to what the brother witnessed. First reports about walking into the woods may have been inaccurate. Perhaps the brother caught a glance of his sister and someone else briefly - walking towards the woods. As opposed to walking towards the driveway...

Perhaps a parent would strain and watch the daughter walking in the opposite direction of school...because that's weird... but a brother ... would head to the shower or coffee or cereal or text message from a friend...and not give it another thought until asked to recall later what he saw.

Discussing someone as a suspect or POI when they are not either one, is not allowed so please make sure you are not doing this. Thanks.

Someone asked where Hamilton Cty is earlier, I was looking at a map of TN earlier, and it's over on the SE side of the state, bordering GA, I think.

Here we go:

Thank you so much!

So... just for reference, how does LE "rule out" or "clear" someone who is all alone and has no alibi? Do they just take the person's word for it?

I would think in a case like that, a polygraph might be given? I really have no idea, but that's a good question.

Wonder if the brother had any frequent friends visit that would know their routine. Maybe a friend of his became infatuated with her.

Thank you so much Emma. Additionally, WS is a victim friendly forum and right now Clint Bobo is the brother of the victim in this case. If all the continued comments about him don't stop, I fear the mods or Tricia will have to step in and close Holly's threads and we won't be able to discuss her case at all. I'm not sure how plainer LE can be when addressing this as they have said Clint Bobo is not a suspect in the disappearance of his sister.

I am sorry for asking so many questions. I am a "let's back up to the beginning" kind of problem solver. You know... a "where did you last see it" kind of thing. Like a math problem, I don't feel comfortable circling my answer until I've written down all the steps to how I got there. Because so many of my questions still lie in the first few steps of this story, I guess I just keep coming back to them and trying to figure it out.

I will hush, though... and just let it play out like it will. Even my stubbornness is particularly stubborn. It is my hope that everyone comes out of this positively, especially Holly.

A case where a family member was stated "not a suspect," and later arrested for the murder? Let's see, there's been many. A lot locally, but none you would know. DH is a retired police chief and I am a retired body language and document expert for the seventh judicial circuit. One you would know is Drew Peterson for the murder of his second wife. At first, in fact for years, not a person of interest.
Reason, FYI, after a person is named a POI they must be given a miranda warning and then are not compelled to talk with police. You get a lot more out of these people if they don't think you are suspicious of them.
Having said this, I am not casting suspicion on anyone at this time, because we just don't know. Looks like we don't know if she went in the woods, went down the road or rode off on a motorcycle with him. Never seen a case like this. MOO.

And if he saw her being led by the arm...he saw the abduction...

yes yes yes but not the way he first reported it led away not dragged away. thats all.

The only thing I read in MSM about search dogs was that at least one had to be carried into the area due to the density of the brush...so I'm really not seeing anyone carrying a bunch of stuff...her stuff should have been scattered pretty close to home.

I think if that's it; Holly's brother would have known a long time ago about one of his friends being in love with his sister.

Something's wrong with this, then. That makes no sense, IMO.

not unless she never walked into the woods!!!!!

The thing with this case is this - there have been reports out there by social media sites, blogs, news agencies, etc. each with their very own version. To my knowledge, Clint Bobo has not spoken to ANYONE other than LE about what took place that morning. Do we really know what Clint Bobo told the police when he reported this to them? Has the media or these bloggers looked at the police report or been privy to the 911 calls that were made? I for one don't recall seeing that information posted anywhere online as to what he said in his 911 call or what he said when LE arrived. Obviously Clint's story has proven to be accurate to LE otherwise they wouldn't have stated he was not a suspect. Just because Clint's story has "changed in the media" doesn't mean that Clint's story has changed with LE. LE has no obligation to anyone other than Holly and her family at this point and we are fortunate that we have been given what we have. Just because something is "reported" in the media doesn't always make it true.

The astro thread here on WS is not optimistic for her returning home safely...:(
Sadly, they are almost always right.

Neither are my 'thoughts' either. I'd love to be proven barking mad.

So a dog had to be carried into the woods. Wow, that's weird.

I'm thinking the brother has nothing to do with this, but with that said, just because LE says someone is not a suspect or person of interest, doesn't necessarily mean that's the case, during an on-going investigation. I'm like another poster above, who said they like to put things "step by step", from the beginning. That's all:seeya:

I was reading some of Holly's friend walls.

one mention that Holly had wrote on her wall

That she feel like that since she begin nursing program, She had learn to control herself much more and remain calm in situations where otherwise I would be very upset
(not word by word)

That give me hope that if Holly is staying calm she might be able to outsmart the monster that took her and get away. I praying for that...
