Hamilton Co. is Chattanooga, Tn. The drive time between the two is appx. 3 hours, 45 min.

The only thing I read in MSM about search dogs was that at least one had to be carried into the area due to the density of the brush...so I'm really not seeing anyone carrying a bunch of stuff...her stuff should have been scattered pretty close to home.
With that, I'm not envisioning her (dressed for school) casually walking into the woods either. I would think she'd have to be dragged (screaming) and probably would tear clothing along the way. :waitasec: MOO

Ok... Last warning. Unless or until someone is said to be a suspect or POI we will not be discussing them in this way. Knock it off!

Trying to catch up.

Is there spring recess there? So could it be a student, a teacher, maybe a janitor?

They had found her lunch purse 8 miles away, does anyone know where. TIA

Purse locale not confirmed, some say by a creek, some say side of a road.

I don't think it is spring break there...Holly had school. Most schools and colleges already had it, as Easter is too late this year, too close to end of semester.

Spring break has come and gone for our schools/universities, as far as I am aware.

Just checked, and it is not. It was March 14-20 for UT Martin (which her school is part of).

Will Nunley posting that most searchers are making their way back to post...

well, so much for those promos all afternoon on tv. HNN doesn't have it and Fox had a whole 30 seconds saying the case is heating up and Geraldo will report on it at 10. Sorry folks.

Someone asked where Hamilton Cty is earlier, I was looking at a map of TN earlier, and it's over on the SE side of the state, bordering GA, I think.

Here we go:

tennessee-county-map.jpg

Darden Tennessee is in Henderson County, sorta towards the middle or SW of the State, Hamilton County is in the SE corner of the state...Chattanooga is in Hamilton. Approx. 3~4 hours drive away...

I thought it was in Decatur County... What's in Decatur County then? (In the PC yesterday, the sheriff said to call the Decatur County Sheriff Dept if anyone had a tip...).

ETA: Maybe her home is actually over the county line in Decatur County?

I'm going to guess she never went into the woods, with the man. It's possible she was only seen talking to this camo dude, near the woods. Who knows? We don't have a straight story, of how she was last seen. Guess we'll wait & see what happens.

Ok nitey nite y'all be well and safe yourselves!

Darden is pretty close to the county line between Henderson and Decatur counties.

Also, to get to Hamilton Co. from there, the route likely taken would be I40 East to Nashville, where you would pick up I-24 back down southeast to Chattanooga.

Could be...from the map, they border each other and she may live closer to the Decatur side...I would think all neighboring counties would be involved...or at least hope so...
