Just as a poster opinion only, I wonder if anyone could tell me whether you
personally think this case received more attention than other cases or less
than other cases or about the same as other missing cases?

How much does the fact that it was a rare observed "abduction" case color
your opinion?

Do you think that there being a relative in entertainment helped to bring more attention
or had no impact on the amount of media attention this case received?

I think it got less attention because it took the family 3 months to come out and talk, and the stories they told did not add up.... Heck Nancy grace wont even touch it! what does that tell ya?

I don't really put much stock in the weight guess just because people in general are horrible at guessing weights. It always felt like Clint's numbers were more like average guesses for an average body type that didn't seem terribly fat or thin or noticeably tall or short.

Seems hard to believe he would have nothing to do with Holly's disappearance....he lived fairly close to her location. Only 10 miles or so away.

Maybe its just wishful thinking. Really ready for this case to get a break.

I would have been shaking my head if he were. If 4 branches of LE couldn't thumb through a short list of SOs living in the area and figure out if he was linked in more than 9 mos., that would be pretty strange, too.

He's indicted in Madison Co. He was driving with a suspended license.
Wouldn't they have brought somebody like him in and put the screws to him long ago about her case?

The story said he was driving a van like this one parked in his yard.
Huh? Like that one, but not that one obviously since it isn't impounded.
So who's van is that?

Plus shouldn't he be under a jailhouse somewhere instead of running around being a repeat offender??

Thanks wfgodot for the tweet from Jill Monier. Perhaps it will give LE a chance to ask some tough questions of Terry Britt that could provide useful in finding Holly.

In the first paragraph from the WWJTV link it mention's a Grand Jury.

A Decatur County man officers said is a violent sex offender is off the streets Tuesday after being indicted by a Madison County grand jury.

Perhaps with so many questions in Heidi Bobo's disappearance there is a Grand Jury meeting right now. (my wishful thinking) If there is;I think there is an additional chance of getting some answers...at least that is my hope. MOO

He has charges in 4 counties....and in Tennessee and NC. So maybe he hasn't done much time sitting in the jail cell....YET.

I've been posting on Holly's case for a long time....all 31 threads. Would love to see this case resolved and would especially be thrilled if she is found alive. I doubt that she is living...but there is always hope in my heart.

Not sure when he was last in custody. It is quite confusing. I do know I read that his most recent arrest was in Decatur County....

Those are the 3 biggies....

Well, hmmm.
Maybe the Grand Jury is where the district court is being convened and
that's why it's Madison County?

Still, how was he not already in custody?

If you look at his record, it shows he received a suspended probation sentence in 2004....I am wondering if that was for his charge of rape in 95. Its not clear.

His most resent registration as a sex offender was in December of 2011. The reports say he was stopped while driving with a revoked license. So perhaps they found he wasn't properly registered as a SO, meaning he hadn't kept his registration current.

Hopefully more will come out in the next couple days. I know his name has appeared before in Holly's case...simply because he was an SO there. Maybe LE has continued to trail and investigate him.

Pardon my ignorance on grand juries but if he was indicted by a grand jury, wouldn't this guy be on TBI's radar for a while?

Just as an FYI, posters on another board have been discussing this guy for months. I'm sure he's been brought up on this board as well. If LE executed a search warrant for TC, surely they should've been hot on this guy's trail? Right?
