The shorter answer for mine if it's too much is, after going back and looking at n/t's now, I think mine is pretty much in agreement with her's/his other than I think I had taken off the accidental shooting and kept the accessory after the fact. I don't have a problem with keeping the accident through the first cuts, but I think it requires disregarding a lot of the known facts. I kept the accessory after the fact because all that takes is for someone to have some knowledge of who was involved and not disclosing it to LE and arguably they are an accessory after the fact.

I suggest placing the most likely scenarios at the top and organizing down from there. I suggest taking our aliens and bigfoot and putting them in a class by themselves. I can't bear to totally discard them....they are near and dear and they make me laugh. And we need to laugh to keep from crying.

I think LE knows the perp but can't nail him. It seems most of us feel this way too....so maybe that could go at the top. Retribution and Holly knew too much seem to be popular as well...so they should top the list also.

If our thread members will list their top 3 numbers, I will attempt to compile them into a list, ranking from the most likely to the least, according to our ideas. (I helped my husband in his doctoral dissertation do the same, as he had to administer hundreds of individual tests concerning people's content retention after hearing speeches using varying mnemonic devices. He had to write and administer the speeches, write and administer the tests, and record all the results....taking into consideration the person's nutritional habits, education, and use of stimulants, such as nicotine and caffeine and their degree of understanding based on the particular mnemonic device used. Let's just say there was a lot to calculate. But we did it. I asked his chairman if I could receive a doctorate also...but it was a no go. Stupid chair.)

After we get everyone's top 3 ideas, Woof can list them for us. Woof go dot is so good at lists! (and many other things, I might add).

ETA: We will put everything back on the list....but the most popular ideas will go up top.

What if we did them like football polls. Rank all 37 or however many from 1-37, 1 being most likely or favored. Then add up the points each theory has and put them in order based on that number, from the theory with the least points to the most points. Does that make sense? For example, if I on theory 100 I rank it 6 and you rank it 20 and then on theory 200 I rank it 22 and you rank it 7, the totals would be 26 and 29 respectively so when redoing the list of theories, theory 100 would be on top of theory 200.

Well, I personally would hate to totally remove Cabin 16. We've heard a lot of chatter about that place. Perhaps it could remain towards the bottom.

I'm afraid if we're only listing the top 3, other viable theories will be dropped. I think if we rank them all, they all will remain but be weighted based on everyone's thoughts regarding likelihoods and we can even include the number of votes each receives.

Has been my theory since the beginning, although I have done a fair amount of waffling.

I feel it is probably someone who has known Holly and her family for many years and became obsessed with her as she grew up and grew beautiful. It's possible that in the recent (to then, anyway) past her life took some turns that displeased the obsessor and he felt he had to act then to keep her the sweet and innocent target of his obsession.

Maybe they were kneeling in the garage to pray for her immortal soul, and maybe she was going with him semi-willingly because she was sure she could talk herself out of the situation.

I think probably the Bobos and LE have a pretty good idea who took her and didn't act immediately to free her because they were reasonably certain he wouldn't harm her unless he felt cornered.

However, if any all or any of my theory were true it seems to me they would have found a way to bring her home by now.

That's my considered opinion.

That's a great idea. I don't think any ideas should be dropped, even the silly ones. But by getting the top 3 in the order of each person's preference, we will get a start at the best ideas each person has.
We could rank all the ideas simply by beginning with the top 3....after that, we can rank the next 5....by the process of elimination, each idea will find its place on our list.

This is a great idea because I struggle with removing certain ones too.

I suppose if we feel it is a combination, then we should just make sure all parts of the combination are voted for near the top. The combination ones kind of throw a wrench into it, but there is not much that can be done with those, other than to vote for all parts of it.

Sure, thats fine by me. Why don't you help us, reedus, by keeping track of the rankings?
So each theory would have a ranking 1-37 according to our likes....right?
It might take me a bit to sort out all 37......I'm not as young as I used to be, ya know!

I like this way as well. If I understand it right, we would vote for all 37 of them and rank them with the highest points near the top. So, the one you think is the most likely gets a 37, then 36, and so on. If I understand it correctly OR do I have it backwards?

I was thinking this way to make it easier to add up the numbers, but this way makes it harder to think about which ones are the favorites. Just want to be sure which way.

I can do that. I will try to post an update each day and see where it takes us.

Right idea Hatfield, but actually give a 1 to your most likely and a 37 to your least likely. At the end of the day, I will re-list all 37 theories from the ones with the least amount of points to the most points. The concept is the same your way or mine but I thought it would be easier for people when compiling their list to have 1 be the most likely. The only way it works though is if you rank all 37, even bigfoot, because if you don't rank a theory, that theory is getting no points then. So, even if you vehemently disagree with a theory, just put it at the bottom of your list.

So to be clear, 1 for most likely.....37(actually 38) for least likely and then we will re-list the theories from least amount of points to most points.

Great. Got it. It does make it easier to think about it this way.

A combination of 2, 9, and 21. So we will not lose any? That's good. Strangely, I would hate to lose the preachers, pastors, church workers, and boyfriend.

Maybe should leave both it and the Calabrase on - after all, the latter's the only one who has had police action directed against him in this case.

Let me wake up a bit here and I'll tinker with the list. Good job all, this is a great thread when it wants to be.

I would leave them on. What about the wheel in the sky? I don't want some weighting it and others not. Should we disregard 19A? If we keep it and someone doesn't put a number on it I can just give it a 38 or if we take it off and someone gives it a number I can ignore it and subtract 1 from each theory after that one. Just need to know which way y'all think we should handle that one. Otherwise, I'd keep them all on there.

Search For Holly Bobo Continues
By [email protected]
By 7 Eyewitness News Staff
Story Created: Aug 11, 2012 at 7:19 PM CDT

About 30 people searched for 6 hours covering 2 miles of land in Holladay. South East K-9 Search and Rescue organized the search and Jodi Powers Search and Rescue from Kentucky assisted.

Organizers told 7 Eyewitness News, volunteers looked for items that could be found in a young woman's purse.

In July, Community United Effort(CUE) sponsored a search in wooded areas of Decatur County. Family members told 7 Eyewitness News, they were grateful for the support of their community.

?? I am confused Foxfire. This article seems to confirm that searchers were told what to look for. The confidentiality agreement prohibits searchers from discussing specifics.

RE: 29. The "Rogue Calabrese"28

There has not been any charges brought Tony Calabrese, nor is there going to be, imo. Imo, this is a personal attack on an individual that has not been named a suspect or POI in Holly Bobo's abduction and should be removed.
Imo, the search of his residence was intimidation by the TBI, OBI, and an off duty FBI agent which drove his POV to Ohio, and was in response to Tony Calabrese contacting TN Governor Haslam, due to investigators ignoring credible info. jmho..
