I think LE clarified the car was unrelated. I could be wrong, but LE also denied her phone was found, or at a minimum, refused to reveal either way.

...LE denied everything. They didn't even want Dana to say the blood was Holly's. The only people that can tell us more is the family and they're not talking.

How do we know for sure that the car found was not involved with Holly missing? It was said camo and a cell was located in the car. Who was the owner? The question is rhetoric as I expect no answer.

What this looks like to me, is it might be one of those rare cases of non loved one abduction. Holly screamed, but nobody ran to help, and it looks like she was stabbed or cut to hush her up. From the time the neighbor heard the scream, (I guess he was checked out), to the time 911 was called and cops got there, there doesn't seem to have been enough time for anybody but an abductor to have gotten her away. This is something that has confused me. Holly's blood was found by her car? was the car in the garage or outside? Was she cut outside and then taken back to the garage, where the brother then saw the silhouettes, or was she cut inside the garage and then taken outside? because the brother didn't hear the scream. I need to find an article, that gives the time for the scream, but I think it was about 7:40? honestly, it sounds like somebody was laying in wait, and saw the parents leave, and then waited on Holly. And IMO, it would almost have to be a neighbor, because who else could blend in? This happened quick! so I think it was somebody with a plan, (he was ready with a knife for God's sake), and not a friend or loved one, with some ax to grind. All Moo.

According to Clint, he assumed the blood he saw was from a turkey. So, imo, he didn't panic and didn't believe his sister was in danger. He related he thought she was with Drew...and was not worried.

What I don't get is after he spoke with Karen, who told him to get a gun and go after her, he didn't. He was detained by the neighbor who pulled up in the driveway.

After the LE arrived, he relates he was worried about people going into the woods and messing up the crime scene. He chose to stay in his car while all this was going on and writing down everything he recalled that morning.

Where was his car? Some say it was in the enclosed garage. Has this every been confirmed? So was he sitting inside of the garage writing when the crowds were there?
Was his car moved between the time he called his mom and LE arriving?

Whisperer, my understanding is he was writing down his statement in the police car and not his own car. I don't think it was ever confirmed where his car was parked. IMO

yes, I've been reading to refresh my memory, but I'm still confused, especially about the timeline and sequence of events. I'm also confused about a few other things. Were Holly and her bf texting that morning? If so, was it about him being able to use or not being able to use her grandmother's land for hunting? I read that Holly's mother either talked or texted with the bf also that early morning? Was this conversation also about the land or something else? ok, the brother said a barking dog woke him up, and then he heard voices and saw 2 silhouettes, leaned over, as if checking out a killed turkey? (in the garage) He thought the 2 people were Holly and her bf. Did he call his mother before or after seeing the silhouettes? Was it after or during the call, that he saw Holly and the guy in camo walking into the woods? When did he see the blood, and when and who heard a scream? (if anybody did). IMO, it looks like there was a flurry of activity that morning. Holly on the phone with her bf, the mother on the phone with the bf, (was this a normal activity?), Holly getting ready for classes and then presumably going outside on her own, the dog(s) barking, a scream?, the brother hearing voices and seeing silhouettes, the brother calling the mom, the brother seeing Holly being led into the woods, the brother finding blood, and the brother calling 911. Was he still on the phone with his mother, or did he call her back? Whose idea was it to call 911? Did she call 911 also? Did the brother wait for cops to arrive, or did he go into the woods? And since there was blood in the garage, (Holly's blood, unless I read wrong), was there a trail of blood, on her path into the woods? So, what was it that made the brother realize that this was a dire situation and 911 needed to be called? was it because of the blood, (which I think he said he thought was turkey blood, maybe not), or was it because the mom realized Holly wasn't with the bf, because she, herself had been talking to him? moo

I'll try to answer some of your questions from recollection.

1) We don't know if they were texting but according to Karen there were a flurry of phone calls amongst the 3 of them. Karen, Holly and bf.

2) There was a misunderstanding regarding hunting on grandma's property. When bf and his dad arrived, the person (we do not know who this person is) didn't recognize bf and that is when bf called Holly.

3) The timeline was posted on this thread by SmoothOperator. This is the way I understood the events to happen.

Holly leaves the house to go to her car parked in the carport.
Suspect either grabs her as she was walking to the carport or confronts her in the carport.
At some point Holly screams. Clint does not hear the scream but a neighbour does.
Neighbour tells his mom he heard a scream coming from the Bobo home and tells his mom to go check.
Neighbour's mom calls Karen at the school she works. Secretary takes the call and alerts Karen.
I'm guessing and assuming at about this time is when the dog barks and awakens Clint who is unaware of what is going on outside. This is when he looks out and sees Holly with the suspect who he assumes was her bf so he wasn't concerned.
He thought the bf had gone hunting and brought a turkey to show Holly.
At about this time is when I believe Karen calls him to ask what is going on and relays the message she had gotten from the neighbour regarding the scream. Clint tells Karen that Holly is in the carport with Drew. Karen is panicked and tells him it is not Drew. Karen knew it couldn't be Drew because Drew was supposed to be on grandma's property and not anywhere close to the Bobo home. Karen tells Clint to get a gun and go after suspect. This is about the time the neighbour shows up and by that time Holly gone never to be seen again.

As for the 911 calls. I believe Karen, the neighbour and Clint made calls.

We were not told if there was a trail of blood. We were told there was a puddle/pool/specks (all three were used to describe the blood) found in the carport that belonged to Holly.

It seems phone calls to the BF should have continued and even increased once HB was taken...I would think he could have become the focal point of Karen calling him, Clint calling him, and he (the BF) calling everyone he could to find out was going one. Maybe this was actually so, so if you know please advise.

Just to clarify, n/t, this was after Holly was taken. Is that correct?

Before you know it, we're going to be approaching 2 years. I just have such a hard time believing that LE hasn't made some progress.

I think LE knows exactly who did this But does not have the evidence to do anything. JMO

about the grandmother's land. Since the bf's dad was with him, I don't see this as a problem, just a case of not knowing them, I guess. IMO, LE checked his alibi, and it must have been solid. But like a poster stated, this would probably mean the bf was wearing camo, among other things, such as the brother identifying the abductor as the bf, and then going on about a dead turkey. It would be interesting to know how the hunting dispute was resolved. During the flurry of calls, did Holly or her mother call the grandmother and get it straightened out? Did the bf and his dad go ahead and hunt?

There may have been phone calls after Holly was taken but we only know of two for sure. Clint confirmed that he called Holly's cell phone and it went to voice mail. He then called Drew's cell phone and it rang 5 times and went to voice mail.

No. This was in reply to the poster's inquiry regarding the misunderstanding on grandma's property. The flurry of phone calls was before Holly was kidnapped.

I don't think we were ever told how it was resolved except that Drew was at work by 8 am.

Thanks ~n/t~! That's what I remember; only two calls and both went to voicemail like you said. It makes no sense to me.

I wish Sheryl could clarify the tip in the tip box that initiated the search by LE. Is that what prompted the searches this weekend or was this tip from a previous search?

Not sure. I took it to mean from a previous search, from some tip in the box at a country fair. But that's just a guess.

I think that what is happening now is that people are going on wild speculation because there is no new news. I will admit to be one of those because I thought I remembered a shower, and it wasn't there. I never heard of a meter reader either, but I think that people get desperate to find anything to talk about when the case is as cold and confusing as this.

Naa.. Not really..most recall correctly just as is seen below in the snipped quote from the JVM interview where Clint does in fact state that he expected to see some city type worker as an electric co.or the like when he intially looked out the window after being awakened..
<snipped>
"The dog woke me up barking, and I looked out front and expected to see the electric truck or something," Clint said.

That this case still has no real suspects yet is baffling. Espcially since Holly's brother was a witness to her meeting the camflouged clothes guy which was th elast time she was seen....Amazing.
