This is for anyone who has'nt read this article:

According to police, Bobo's brother said he saw a man dressed in camouflage clothing drag his sister through the carport next to the home and into a wooded area behind it. A small puddle of blood was later discovered by the carport.

Local and state law enforcement authorities coordinated a massive search behind Bobo's home. Investigators found items that belonged to her, such as a lunch bag and cell phone, but nothing to suggest where she was taken. Authorities do, however, suspect Bobo's abduction was premeditated.

Williams has been leading searches for Bobo, and plans to hold another this weekend and on Sept. 22 and 23.

"One of the areas we plan to search is in Holladay. I can't really go into why, but we have a real good reason we are searching that area," Williams said.

Hatfield---- Yes, agreed. This is so disturbing it makes me FLAT OUT ANGRY for the bumbling LE and lack of progress and LACK OF LEADERSHIP.

I do think 3 DAYS IS A LONG TIME. Think about it and put someone dear to you in Holly's place. Holly's disappearance becomes even more magnified since it seems this family, relatives are close.

I understand and realize everone is different regarding the T-shirt thing. I guess for me, I would be afraid to have that done so quickly. It would be like admitting she is really a missing person on the back of a milk carton. Maybe after a week or so, but for the first 3 days, I guess I would still have hope she would be walking through the front door at any moment.

I cant just pick one. :banghead:

-Would love to know the exact times and who called who that whole morning. If any of it was text messages, would like to see those as well.

-Would love to have any and all 911 calls released

-Would like to be able to interview the neighbor and his Mom to understand exactly what they heard and who she called and then what did she witness upon arriving at the home.

-Would like to interview the person who supposedly had the conflict with Drew and his dad at Gram's place.

-Would like to be able to talk with Clint "off the record".

-Would like to be able to talk with Drew "off the record".
You're cheating! lolol. I chose the "dogs" one because that whole initial scenario seems sometimes like something out of fiction. If a good tracking dog - well, even just a decent tracking dog - didn't, if properly handled, pick up a scent, then the truth of what we've been told gets discounted severely.

And it changes everything.

Excellent point and a great choice.

I had a hunting dog (Brittany Spaniel), and his nose was incredible. He found so many pheasants that I never would have spotted in a million years. So you are correct that a good dog should have been able to prove whether they even proceeded into thw woods or not. That would be a game changer if they never walked into the woods. It would mean someone knows much more than what was told to the media.

I think the majority of us have done a lot of searching, reading on other boards, etc. so any clue on who lives in Holladay or their reason for searching there? I know we can't really name names but if you have an idea I would love to know!

I agree, we're missing some important information. I read that the brother saw 2 silhouettes and heard voices. Has he ever said what words he might have heard? Did the neighbor who reported the scream, hear anything else? raised voices or words? Was it just 1 loud scream? Also, there's a big difference between a scream from terror and a scream from pain, for instance. I understand that LE keeps certain details to themselves, so as to not tip their hand to the perp. Is that what's going on here? Maybe, but it sure leaves a lot of gaping holes in the case.

Why didn't Clint hear her scream? Where was he? If a neighbor a 1/4 mile away heard it, what stopped Clint from not hearing it?

Great job detaling this scene out.

If the "unknown " guy in hunting clothes walked into the woods and Holly's brother watched them walk off, Why does'nt he go after them OR CALL for extra help from a neighbor or LE?

Clint already got a call to get a gun. So how could they walk away and get out of sight?

They walked. They did'nt drive off on a RV, car, chopper. It seems easy to be able to trail behind them?

WOW, how can they not have a sense of urgency to help??

It's been speculated that Clint wasn't totally convinced Holly was in danger. He thought the man in camo was Drew. Even when he saw the blood by the carport or in the carport, he thought it was turkey blood. I'm not sure how that fits into the time line because by this time, one would assume Clint was outside. Is this when the neighbour shows up? Did he have the gun or did he get the gun after? Karen told him to get a gun but maybe he didn't when Karen told him to? IDK

So, all......if there were one thing we don't know, one single thing that at least would make this case, in your view, more clear, what would that thing be?

I'd like to know if the tracking dog(s) did or did not pick up a scent when they arrived with LE and were led to those woods.

The irony is they had 2 dogs of their own. One we saw roaming freely during an interview with Karen showing the reporter where the crime occurred. I say, irony because IMO even their own dogs may have been helpful in tracking Holly. I assume the dogs would have gone nuts if they scented her blood, wouldn't they? The little dog barked loud enough to awaken Clint and alert him that something was not right.

But alas, I guess hindsight is 20/20 and of course, we don't know all the details.

I'll attempt to follow your instructions and leave it to one only. lol

Can I say in addition to ?

I'd like to know who has been officially ruled out as possible POI's or suspects.

Unrelated to Holly's case but interesting. bbm

TBI still fighting gangs despite budget cuts

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is aiming its sights at big city gangs that have infiltrated the state’s small towns.

“What we’ve seen are a lot of urban gangs migrating to smaller communities and towns in rural West Tennessee,” TBI Director Mark Gwyn said after a budget hearing with Gov. Bill Haslam. “Sometimes on the weekends, thousands going into those towns, partying, violence, drugs, the things that follow that type of clientele.”

At the hearing, Gwyn requested a $70.9 million budget for 2013-14, representing about a $1.5 million reduction from last year’s budget at the governor’s request.

Such a reduction would likely lead to the loss of nine forensic scientists and nine criminal investigators, if implemented, though such budgets often change before they are finalized.

Gwyn said the state’s main priorities are drugs and gangs, two problems that are intertwined and growing in some areas.

If drugs and gangs are their priority perhaps solving Holly's case is way down on the priority list (??)

Unless you can link to main stream media and or law enforcement to show otherwise the family are victims here. They are not to be discussed as POI's or Suspects. They have a daughter and sister missing!

Unless you can show for a fact that law enforcement is hiding something it will not be discussed here.

IMO, this is one case that could have gathered national attention almost to the level of Natalie Holloway. It was not pursued by anyone close to Holly. It is not only the sheriff's dept that are keeping this quiet. My question is, "why"?

Maybe the Sept 22, 2012 all out search for Holly was put on by townies who don't know what's going on behind the scenes and organized this search on their own?

Just my opinion..

Did'nt Clint say he saw the two figures walk from the carport to the woods in the back of of the house/garage? You'd think Clint could've caught up to them pretty easily, since no getaway vehicle was ever mentioned?

Maybe the perp has Holly back at his place all drugged up and locked up so she does'nt have a clue what's going on?

I've heard these kidnappings happen to acquire "sex slaves" and with the gang, heavy drug issues going on in the area, as it's been noted, and these young women/boys get trafficked around, completely out of sight.

Just my opinion..

Southeast K9 Search and Rescue and CUE Center for Missing Persons (Monica Caison) have been very much involved in the search efforts. There may have been other organizations as well but I'm only aware of these two because they've publicly requested volunteers.

LE has also searched. One that was publicized was back in February 2012 when they requested help from the Sheriff in Alabama. There may have been non publicized ones after that IDK

I agree. The Decatur LE reminds me of the 1950s small southern towns and their own code of ethics for conducting cases.

I keep trying to think of what more we could do to help if we are not from the area.

I think someone brought up a good idea awhile back. If there was a current satellite photo of the area where we could zoom in and search from our computers, we could split up the area in grid searches and slowly but surely end up searching a lot of ground that way. But the application would have to be able to zoom down to very detailed view, like where a soda can could be found and seen.

I think I heard something similar was done in the case of a missing plane + pilot who ditched the plane. I think in a suicide or something.

Maybe this could be the future of these kinds of searches if the people who run those satellite earth image websites could get current views with enough detail where people could do this type of searching as a volunteer group around the nation or world.

Would have to have the proper application, and then some sort of organization in how the searching could be assigned to different people in different GPS coordinates or something.

The tree canopy would make a lot of the areas probably useless to search from aeriel images, but some ground could be covered where there are no thick trees. I think that area has a lot of trees though, so not sure if that area would be good for something like that.
