In Pennsylvania? Or is there something I'm missing?:waitasec:

I'm assuming that was intended for the Kortne Stouffer case.

I intended that for the Kortne Stouffer thread. When I realized it was misplaced I went back and thought i removed it.

Apologies.

Hi everyone! New member here.
I've always followed crime stories, but the Megan Sharpton case hit close to home (literally). My heart is broken a million times over for her family and friends
I've heard rumblings from many that the suspect that was indicted in her case , could be a major suspect in Holly's case. Not sure how to find the info, but apparently he was working in that area when Holly disappeared. (he worked for a company that built hotels).

anyone here have any perspective on that? Seems to many that Megan was his undoing, but he's not a stranger to sexual assault, kidnapping, and imo, murder.

I've read through many threads and posts here, and its all so sad.

Thanks and I think I will enjoy my time here.

post #39 hotel key card found

Hmmm....but that find was never mentioned in a MSM report to my knowledge. The link within this above link does not work for me, and I believe it is because it is not considered a reliable source unfortunately. But this info, verified or not, is very interesting. It is said to have come from the villified TC and his real-or-pretend SAR group, no? Is this the same TC being credited for finding this recent missing person:

I follow both cases, but don't think the two are connected - though there are interesting coincidences, and if they are connected I would not be all that shocked.
As for now, I see Holly's case as one involving a local who wants her for his own, to keep under lock and key. Just a feeling I have about her case...

I don't think TC was the one who brought up the key. If I'm not mistaken it was from a member here who participated in the physical searches.

FWIW, many of the links are no longer available regarding this case.

I replied to you over there. I'm not stalking you. Promise. LOL

Another interesting possible connection: Far fetched but IIRC, a hotel key was found in Hailey Dunn's case as well. Wonder if Jones moved around a lot for his job?

We've followed on and another on a couple of threads, and I enjoy your insights and the things you find out.

Is it possible Holly's boyfriend was not at grandma's farm hunting the day she disappreared?

Has this been verified by LE...do any of one of you know this to be true?

I'm wondering where the woods behind the Bobo's home leads to ? A road?

A lake to drive off via boat?

So many of these cold cases are in the southern US states, I'm starting to get a prejudice towards the general lack of ability of the southern LE officials....why is this case sooo hard to gather information and leads..

HAPPY HOLIDAYS WEBSLEUTHERS......:fence:

Sure is possible, Xavier!

<modsnip>

We have hashed and rehashed every possibility we can think of. The most recent piece of info came from Dana about six months ago. He said her pink purse, camera and keys have not been found.

Would anyone like to tell me why he releases that one and half years later? He is also the one that told us the blood in the carport belonged to Holly. Perhaps if an interested reporter would interview him (ALONE), more details may emerge. None of the family has been interviewed alone. I consider this interesting but I am sure others won't.

In my thinking, the family has come to their conclusions and can live with it. If they didn't, they would be on every media outlet they were allowed to talk about the case.

This has been one of my great questions about the case! What could possibly keep the parents silenced for so long? You know they only have Holly's best interests at heart, so it must be something pretty powerful keeping them from telling what they think may have happened! IMHO, if you figure out why they are not talking ( and I don't think it's because they are guilty), I think you go a long way toward solving the case.

You are correct. A searcher did find that key, and according to his own story, the authorities did not seem interested in "tagging and bagging" it. He was appalled that anyone would discount it as evidence, when so little was known about the circumstances of her disappearance. In that regard, nothing much seems to have changed, IMO.

Whoa! I missed this! Where did you get this information? Is there more?

Almondjoy is correct and I remember the posts too by the WS poster. I think it was on much earlier threads here. He is a good person IMO and he helped with the searches for Holly right at the very beginning. I dont remember his poster name, but I do remember him describing the motel key being found and as he tried to turn it in, they were not interested in it.

If I remember the story correctly, I think it was because LE already thought they were honing in on the "who dunnit", so they didnt think the item was important. Something along those lines.

Nothing must have panned out for LE.

There are so many strange things about this case. One thing that is really so strange to me in this case is why LE never even released the results of the blood testing in the driveway. It seems they should have at least provided the results of that testing. It seems LE never released anything hardly at all about this case, which is really odd. Almost like a total black out of any information from them, and yet if they want any public help, they really should provide whatever they can for people to help. I realize there may not be a lot to go on, but confirmation of items found, blood test results, etc. would all be important to know.
I know someone else indicated whose blood it was on an interview, but LE really should do it.
So many things that are frustrating with this case.

Hello Kimster, your avatar reminds me of one of my favorite movies "Earth Girls Are Easy". I had a snapshot of the post by Foxfire re: the Motel keycard.

<snipped>
The lunch packet & duct tape location(woods/5 points) was more than likely a safe haven til the responding LE subsided. They would have been responding from many directions, I-40 etc.. I was on the search when the cell phone was located. He prolly discarded it enroute to his safe haven/ritual grounds..

I am also the searcher that located the Lexington, TN, Motel keycard that was dismissed by the THP.. It was like new...& located near other significant items located in the Easter search..It was bagged & tagged, yet TBI PIO Helms reported that it was not turned in to evidence. I had words with the THP Officer, due to the perceived hypothesis attitude that I had experienced before in a prior abduction investigation in GA. He said that it prolly had nothing to do with Holly's abduction. I said, 'couldn't the abductor have staged at the motel or took her there after the abduction'? He said, "no we know who took her and he kept her at his house"..
That was 16+ months ago...Perceived hypothesis..why most cases go cold..

There was a hotel key found in Hailey's case? Are you referring to the dogs picking up the scent at the hotel? Or was there also an actual 'key'?

You're right. There was no actual key. I apologize for the confusion.
