Found Deceased TN - Jean Culbertson, 57, Savannah, 22 Sept 2020

Key words: the only text that was mentioned.

I'm not trying to be argumentative here but I just think there's a lot of information the public doesn't have in this situation.
Agreed.

Still no word on cause of death or anything else.

Nothing new about her in MSM or on SM. Either no sign of foul play was found in the autopsy and/or the police don't need the public's help. It's strange that she parked her car half way into town and left with someone only to be found back home. That would make sense if her car broke down or she had a health issue.

This is such a bizarre case. I'm just reading through it for the first time today. I agree that it's odd the neighbor/witness described it as this red truck "pulling her over." The only thing that makes sense in that context is an auto accident or they are trying to tell her a tire is flat or something. I'm sure if something was actually wrong with her vehicle, LE would see that when they got to her vehicle.

The only other scenario that comes to mind is if it's someone she knew and they maybe coincidentally pulled up next to one another at a stop light. One or the other signals to pull into the next parking lot for them to say hi/catch up and that's what happened. The red truck driver then convinces her to get in his truck and go somewhere with him - maybe to grab a coffee or something? And she willingly goes. And then something nefarious happens. Even so, 1) if no one in her family is aware of someone with a red truck, this would have to be an acquaintance they don't know and 2) if you are going to kill someone, why leave their body at their own house? That seems such an odd choice rather than hiding them.

Was there ever any statement by police that they are continuing to investigate this after her body was found? I'm wondering if, after autopsy, the circumstances were determined to be due to some health condition or accidental situation.

I haven't seen any new official statements. The family must have been notified by the police if they are still investigating. There were no further SM posts about her by the family either. At some point it appeared that they were suspecting foul play. The circumstances were rather intriguing. She abandoned her car mid-way into town and was found very close to home on family property. It would be a coincidence if she was given a lift home AND died due to either a medical emergency or an accident before reaching the house, in a spot that was obscured from the view.

I seem to recall that her family thought she wasn't capable of walking any great distance due to health problems. I wonder if she attempted to walk home for some reason (might not even have had anything to do with her car, it could have been confusion or mental fog) and then had a health emergency after wandering onto her own property. I hope that, whatever the outcome was, the people who loved her have closure.

I doubt that she walked home. There was a witness who claimed that she was pulled over by a man in a truck and was seen out of her vehicle speaking with him. I'm surprised that the man in question did not come forward. Many coincidences there if her death was natural. Since we haven't heard anything more about her case, that was probably the official conclusion. Another possibility is that her case remains unsolved. One would expect a public reaction if that happened.

If he came forward and LE determined he was not involved, they aren't going to say anything else about him for his privacy. If he came forward and his story raised questions about his involvement, they are not going to continue to show their hand by discussing him with the public.

My guess is that the man in that truck did come forward but LE has not discussed that with the public. They haven't continued to ask for tips on who he is, which is a sign they don't need any help from the public.
