Circumstances of Disappearance:
Moore was last seen in Henderson County, Tennessee on October 5, 1990. He and his wife had left McKenzie, Tennessee that day en route to Phoenix, Arizona. When they reached Morrilton, Arkansas, Moore changed his mind about the trip and they turned to go back to McKenzie. They pulled over on I-40 at mile marker 96 so Moore could take a bathroom break. According to his wife, she drove on but turned around at the next exit and came back to pick him up. He was nowhere to be found and had no ID or money with him.

Moore had diminished mental and physical capacity at the time of his disappearance and suffered from seizures. His family reported that he was physically unable to take care of himself. He has never been heard from again and his whereabouts remain unknown.

Jerry disappeared after visiting with his mother on October 5, 1996. He walked away from his car without ID, money, a coat, or even a flashlight to navigate in the pitch black of night. The circumstances of his disappearance deeply troubled his family, because they did not consider him likely to want to disappear on his own. At the time of his disappearance, Jerry was a newlywed, getting ready to move into a new house, start a new business, and move to Arizona with his brand-new bride. Jerry has always been a big outdoorsman—hunting, fishing, swimming, and a huge fan of baseball.

When Jerry’s mother didn’t hear from him, she knew he was deceased because he was always checking on her, and would never let her worry. To many in Jerry’s family, it also didn’t make sense that he would vanish into thin air when his health had been in decline.

I don't mean to be insensitive but something about this story just doesn't add up for me.

Husband and wife decide to move from Tennessee to Arizona, over 1500 miles away, by driving. However, just 300 miles into the trip, Jerry randomly changes his mind and they decide to drive back. And then, when he needs a bathroom break, his wife just leaves him on the side of the highway and drives on? Drive on to where? Why would you even drive on, knowing you'd need to drive back to pick him up?

And on top of that, her husband is a vulnerable individual who had "diminished mental and physical capacity," "poor health," a "seizure disorder" and, according to his sister, "was not physically able to take care of himself on his own." How do you leave someone like that on the side of a highway and just drive away? Could he even go to the bathroom on his own?

I don't like where this is going.
