Yeah, this was way back in college. I woke up the next day in my bed, no clue. My friend was like "but that was only your first drink and all of a sudden you were falling down in the gutter so I called a cab and got you home." Really thankful I have friends like that, and I never let another guy at the bar buy me a drink again. I never bothered going to the ER, so not sure what it was. The thing about this is he could still have water in his lungs from technically drowning, even if he was too out of it. Do we know anything about the timeline prior?
Where were they before? I know she said she had been drinking, but was it at a bar? I may have missed it, so please excuse me if I did.
We don't know where she was drinking. I guess it was at the house prior to their taking off in the vehicle. Remember, the neighbor says that she saw them leave in the vehicle at about 10:30 p.m. This is the same neighbor whose door she would knock on at 1:30 a.m. requesting help.
I had a similar experience to yours, only it was combining some kind of cold medication with alcohol (I remember some tequila shots, in addition to whatever alcoholic beverage I was drinking). I was sick with a cold but, being young and stupid, not wanting to miss out on the partying. I was home from school at the time (after sophomore year in college). Went out to a party that night. I woke up the next morning still at the party! I called my mother pronto and told her what had happened. I think I woke her up (thank the dear Lord she didn't really miss me!). Never happened again.
