Looking back through the earliest news reports, it seems that even LE were of the opinion that Mom and the girls might have gone with AM willingly. Makes you wonder what changed police minds specifically that the girls were in danger?

• Was it the fact that LE discovered AM lied to them?
• The fact that he fled?
• The discovery of the bodies?
• All of the above?

Finding the bodies was a pivotal point, because up until then, they hadn't issued an Amber Alert or the kidnapping warrant, even after AM lies were discovered and he fled. So it seems possible that LE might have worked two parallel theories right up until bodies were discovered. In the first, trying to determine if the girls were along for the ride voluntarily; in the second, pursuing leads about AM abducting them forcefully.

Locals on the fb news site are saying he is surronded in Union Court and asking for it to be confirmed. Take it as rumor of course.

According to a relative with the initials BF, on her FB page she states that JB and the girls didn't take anything with them but JB's purse and the durango. No phones taken.

I read that JB and the girls were reportedly discovered missing by husband on Fri am, anyone know what time he said?

Last they were seen was Friday before school....he realized something was wrong when they didn't show up after school...and called in the missing report. Since there was talk of him staying at their house at times I wonder if they planned..or he planned to have this all take place when they were taken to school? As I mentioned previously, there is a school only yards up Mecklinburg Rd to the east----from the intersection of the road where the Durgano was found. (and it/vehicle was only about a 1/2 mile in on that road.

Now in the wake of the discovery of two bodies in Union County, the search continues for Mayes and any of the family members who may still be with him.

I see this article in a different light... I think that with the JB being off of the amber alert they are pretty well affirming her fate...

I also wonder his parents were known to actually reside there, or if they just owned the home?

I wonder if he was still married, or if that fell apart. It is seen on the picture of the youngest child a comment from TM, but that was in 2010, wonder if they were still together???

So many questions, not near enough answers....IMHO

SWAT team must be busting their tails & busting out any listening devices & mini-cams that they can to determine if any of the girls are with him. Even usign tear gas would be risky. Might put him further over the edge if any of the girls are with him.

Sounds like a standoff. Someone also mentioned helicopters over his girlfriends house. Didn't know he had a girlfriend thought he had a wife.

Hope this ends with the girls going free.

(WMC-TV) Union County, Desoto County, the FBI, and US Marshals have set up a command post in Alpine, MS for what is now being called a manhunt for 35-year-old Adam Mayes.

"We feel like now that we may have enough evidence to go on the man hunt," said Union County Sheriff Jimmy Edwards.

Interesting that same poster said AM's vehicle abandoned. Makes more sense of the muddled 'on foot' comments combined with vehicle searches.

Reading the fb news site people are saying he is on foot. That they observed three body bags when the digging went on at the grave site. And claim he is on the run with just one girl. Take it as rumor please.
