A court clerk confirmed that Adam Mayes' wife, Teresa Mayes, and mother, Mary Mayes, are in jail in Hardeman County, Tenn., and will be arraigned Tuesday.

This is our local news out of Memphis...this link says the mother and wife are being held on four charges one of which is kidnapping!

Says Mayes wife and mother both face 4 charges, one of which is KIDNAPPING!!

Mayes' wife, Teresa, and his mother, Mary, are both in the Hardeman County Jail. Teresa is charged with four counts of especially aggravated kidnapping. Mary is charged with four counts of conspiracy to commit especially aggravated kidnapping.

Oh my goodness, I had wondered if TM drove the pick up vehicle from JB's abandoned vehicle. AM couldn't have kidnapped them and JB drive her vehicle and him drive another. Someone had to have met them at her car. I'm so disgusted with these people.

I don't know if we'll ever know the whole story.

The only valid reason for analyzing these women's photos (to me) is for sleuthing the why's in the hope of figuring out where AM and the 2 girls are NOW, and what he may or may not do. JMO.

just totally out there but TM's sister stated she had known that the killings occured but too scared.. maybe it's they where in the other vechile waiting thinking that they were just going to help them move or something.... MOO

In the police affidavit, it is revealed that Teresa Mayes admits that she was involved in taking the Bain family from Hardeman County by driving them to Union County, Mississippi.

The affidavit also says that Mary Francis Mayes knew about the crimes.

Teresa's sister, Bobbi Booth, had shocking things to say to Action News 5 about what her sister told her about the murders of Jo Ann Bain and her 14-year-old daughter, Adrienne. Their bodies were found in the backyard of a home in Alpine, Mississippi.

Booth said her sister admitted to her that the two were murdered by Mayes.

"She knew he dug the grave. That was my understanding of the conversation with her because I was yelling at her. I'm like 'You what?' You know. What she said, 'I saw him digging a hole,'" Booth told Action News 5.
Bobbi Booth says that Adam has relatives in Florida and they believe he is coming for a visit. Booth says investigators are now in Florida now looking for Mayes.

Mayes may be using the aliases Christopher Zachery Wylde or Paco Rodrigass. He should be considered armed and very dangerous. Call 1-800-TBI-FIND with any information.

Teresa Mayes bond is set at $500,000. Mary Mayes bond is set at $300,000.

well then.. he's likely been in FL now i'm guessing and they probably don't even know what has gone on.... and FL has all that swamp lands.. not looking good...

It seemed obvious to me that AM switched cars at the spot where the Bain vehicle was recovered. The only other possibility was that he left the car and began walking at that point. And that didn't seem likely since the focus of the investigation was in Mississippi. It's possible that the wife and/or mother picked up the whole lot of them when they switched vehicles. But it's also possible that their charges are only because they helped to disguise the children. We'll just have to wait for details.

I could see that initially but if I showed up to pick my husband up and he had two dead people, I'd be gettin the heck outta there! You're on your own buddy! If TM and whomever else were innocent, they wouldn't have allowed the deceased to be placed in the car hopefully anyway.
