This website is a place for my family and I to share what we have on our Painted Corners Farm. The children came up with the name since we have such a wide color scheme on our property. We are a family of 5. Made up of my husband, Gary, our three daughters, and myself, Jodie. In the house we have 1 Harlequin Great Dane named Allie Mae, 1 Rottweiler named Zeeva, 1 mixed indoor/outdoor cat for mice named Ella, and the children have a Hamster named Dots. Whew! That's a lot to deal with let me tell ya ;o)! As far as outside goes we have 5 Guineas, a trio of Golden Sebrights, and 24 Black Australorps. We have 3 Buff Orpington, 5 Rosecomb and 2 Black Australorp in the baby hutch that just hatched.

We have Australorp eggs for sale. These can be eating or hatching eggs. I do ship eggs!

She sounds like a wonderful person with a great family. So sad! AM is clearly delusional.

I thought in the affadavit Joann was killed in the garage and the older daughter somewhere else.

"The latest police affidavit reveals that Teresa watched her husband kill Jo Ann Bain in a Whiteville garage. She also told investigators Mayes killed Adrienne in the same town."

We can conclude from my links the following:

1) JB, GB, and kids lived in Tucson, AZ area from 2003-2009
2) JB and family return to Tennessee in March 2009 and have a ranch in Whiteville, TN called "Painted Corners"
3) JB and family return to Saint Johns, AZ in late 2010/early 2011 to be with her ailing father Joe Thompson; put home in Whiteville up for sale:

7) AM upset at what appears to be a permanent decision to move away; kidnap and murder

The home is now listed as not for sale on Realtor.com as of May 4. This could be due to the deaths, or the home was sold thus requiring their final move out. Click the "property history" in the below link and you can see that JB and GB bought the property in March 2009.

Looking at the affidavit, it appears, like I mentioned, that Joann was killed in the garage, and the older daughter somewhere else AND not in the garage, and appears it was at the same residence.

I believe that it's absolutely understandable why there is so much confusion surrounding the "facts" about where the family was presently living.. Where were they just "visiting".. Where were the kids enrolled in school.. Were they merely just returning back to AZ with this uhaul of more of their stuff.. Or was it they were just now moving to AZ, and if so was it now or the end of May.. And also understandable that ppl are questioning was GB going to move as well or was Joann leaving her husband..

It's a mess of info along with it certainly seems to be some severe instability in their living situation over the course of the past several years.. So sad as it seems these girls were ping ponged back and forth to TN from AZ and schools as well..

As far as problems within the marriage well.. That stems directly from GB, himself.. He initially believed that Joann had willingly left with Adam and took to his Facebook pleading for her to come back and "they could work it out".. His believing this also is why we saw no amber alert until a week later..

So, IMO there is absolutely every reason in the world for why there has been a level of confusion.. With what is known and the situations at play here there is A LOT TO SORT THROUGH TO GET TO WHAT'S FACT AND WHAT'S FICTION..jmo..

I think it means TM did not actually witness the daughters murder but it did happen at the residence. Still possible it was in the garage but TM just saw her dead and did not see it happen.

Yeah, as we know, MSM is like that. I try to grab the original sources when I can/have the time. Wmctv has a section dedicated to the search for the girls with articles and affidavits together here.

Just trying to help. We're moving so fast, if something inaccurate gets posted, it's carried forward on a tidal wave, and I know all of us are just searching for these girls and the truth.

it was stated on the help find them page (posted somewhere up thread sorry) that they were thinking there was a mole on the page giving him information.. maybe this was what the arrest was for?? Guess we will have to see when it comes out.. Or completely unrelated????

Rumor from friend of friend of relative of the Bain's, so take it with a grain of salt or two...

AM drugged them (not sure if all or just parents) in their own home. Apparently, the mother woke up and began to fight, so he strangled her. Then, the oldest daughter woke up, doing the same, and he strangled her, too. Mayes also believes the youngest is his.

The above rumor/theory looks as good as any I have seen posted, and it fits the official reports (although emphasis is different).

I can believe that the goal was the abduction of the two youngest, and the two deaths were NOT planned.
