Agreed.I don’t think the odds are very good for a happy resolution here. Him running away and getting abducted is off the table for me. That sort of thing just doesn’t happen.
If he ran away, then he didn’t stand much of a chance considering the temperatures.
If he didn’t run away, well we all know how that ends.
it's what is not being said by LE that is worrisome IMO. sigh..Tennessee Amber Alert: Jordan Allen Gorman, missing 9-year-old sought
SABBM:
The TBI has released very few details about the case including when the boy was last seen or who reported him missing.
"New information and growing concern about the well-being of Jordan Gorman has us now issuing a statewide AMBER Alert," the TBI tweeted just before 11:20 a.m.

Cheatham County Sheriff Mike Breedlove would not release additional details and said the TBI is leading the investigation.

This tight-lipped response by LE just does not bode well.

BBM:The Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are assisting with the search, and tracking dogs from Montgomery County are expected to arrive today.
Miller said three teams of tracking dogs searched for Jordan on Sunday, but wind made it difficult for them to pick up a scent.
Authorities said Jordan ran into the woods after a disagreement at his home on Valley View Road near Wanda Lane.

If this was just a missing kid, and there was no sign of anything nefarious, then you’d expect this to be handled by the sheriff’s department.Tennessee Amber Alert: Jordan Allen Gorman, missing 9-year-old sought

this reminds me a bit of Skylea - she went missing and LE found her in a shed - step mom was arrested.https://twitter.com/TBInvestigation/status/1328418129135988737
#TNAMBERAlert: While there's still daylight, residents in the area of Valley View Road in Joelton should walk their property and search anywhere -- a crawlspace, shed, outbuilding, etc. -- where a child could take cover.
That’s the one I was thinking of. Thanks. One article stated they were focusing on two houses and the area about.this reminds me a bit of Skylea - she went missing and LE found her in a shed - step mom was arrested.

He’s apparently not wearing shoes, and there are 5 search teams focusing on areas around the home, to the home.
Damn, they’re calling in the cavalry. I’m fearful to hear his last words to his parents. I hope a nine year old wouldn’t threaten to harm himself. I’ve been on WS too long. I’m so cynical anymore. Big shrug...Tennessee Amber Alert: Jordan Allen Gorman, missing 9-year-old, sought

Notes from presser:
Imminent concern for his wellbeing, in part because of cold temperatures.
Sheriff: "This is a race in time."
"The terrain is so rugged, he could be curled up somewhere and we wouldn't see him."
"He's a little boy."
"He's a small child."
"We want to know how we got to this point."
Not at liberty to discuss whether JAG has a history of running away.
BBM - makes me think they are investigating the hows/whys/whens of the "running away" .....Tennessee Amber Alert: Jordan Allen Gorman, missing 9-year-old, sought

There is a creek in the area, LE has searched it.
