I don’t think the odds are very good for a happy resolution here. Him running away and getting abducted is off the table for me. That sort of thing just doesn’t happen.

If he ran away, then he didn’t stand much of a chance considering the temperatures.

If he didn’t run away, well we all know how that ends.

I think he may be in those woods, but not because he ran away. I hope I’m wrong, but it’s not looking good. IMO.

Parents haven't been named? Have they been out in front of the cameras yet? I don't think so. I have a feeling LE is keeping a close eye on the parents.

The TBI has released very few details about the case including when the boy was last seen or who reported him missing.

"New information and growing concern about the well-being of Jordan Gorman has us now issuing a statewide AMBER Alert," the TBI tweeted just before 11:20 a.m.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are assisting with the search, and tracking dogs from Montgomery County are expected to arrive today.

Miller said three teams of tracking dogs searched for Jordan on Sunday, but wind made it difficult for them to pick up a scent.

Authorities said Jordan ran into the woods after a disagreement at his home on Valley View Road near Wanda Lane.

Well, the wind is one explanation for why dogs struggled to pick up his scent.

There are other possible reasons too, though.

If this was just a missing kid, and there was no sign of anything nefarious, then you’d expect this to be handled by the sheriff’s department.

So them handing it off the TBI is very concerning.

this reminds me a bit of Skylea - she went missing and LE found her in a shed - step mom was arrested.

"We want to know how we got to this point," but focus right now is on locating JAG.

Not at liberty to discuss whether JAG has a history of running away.

There is a creek in the area, LE has searched it.

Search started as soon as deputies responded to the 911 call.

Sounds like all structures on the property have been searched.

I'm having a hard time believing he ran away if he wasn't wearing shoes. That's just one more item to add to the list to make me question what is really happening here.

"We don't have reason to believe that he was wearing shoes at the time he disappeared."

They would not answer whether or not Jordan has a history of leaving the home.

Scent dogs were out until 3 or 4 this morning.

LE immediately searched inside the house during their initial response.
