The Scott County Sheriff's said Monday that they were searching for a man who was reported missing May 5 from a home near the Widows Lane area of Pioneer.
They said Justin Lowe, 41, was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, brown shorts, tennis shoes and carrying a camouflage backpack. Widows Lane is located off Annadell Road, outside of Huntsville.

Geez, the details are scant in this case. What time was Justin last seen? What was his mode of transportation when he left home? Where was he headed? What did Justin have in the backpack he took with him? Did he leave behind anything that he'd normally take with him such as his phone, ID, wallet, keys, etc.? He's been missing over 2 months. Why haven't there been any updates or calls for searchers? Is anyone looking for Justin?

PIONEER, Tenn. — The Scott County Sheriff's Office said they have positively identified human remains found in the Ditney Mountain area of Pioneer on Feb. 28.
They identified the remains as Justin Lowe, a 41-year-old man who was last seen on May 5, 2022. He was last seen alive near a residence on Widows Lane in Pioneer.
