She was trying to say, because LL smothered her babies within the first month, the drop in bp, her hormones, deep depression that is all effected her and such should fall under the neonaticide, but she sure didn't have anything from cases here in Tennessee, In my Opinion she was just talking and really didn't have anything to offer.
At the beginning the Judge said he had to follow the law and that she will probably get 2 Life Sentences... now I think they are talking about the other charges of aggravated child abuse charges.
Anything that is said now, I think, will be just going thru the motions. I'm quite sure appeals are already in process and this is just foundations building for those appeals.

Ah thanks. Sure seems like a dang party in that courtroom everyone smiling, blowing kisses to the murderess, hugs. All they need is the wine and snacks. Jeez! Doesn't one have to show some courtroom respect?

I have no sympathy for the mom, there were to many other choices she could have made.

Absolutely. Her first thought should have been a hospital, fire station, or police department. No excuse - absolutely NO excuse. I'm sure any backlash she would have received from family/friends/fiancé would be better than 2 life sentences and 2 lives not lived.

I agree, but all she was thinking was about herself. Nothing Else. I certainly hope that she gets the full sentence under the law. She could have gone to her parents and they could have helped her put the babies up for adoption, without anyone knowing. It was all about herself.

Her family testified they saw her undressed just days before and didn't notice anything..with twins? Even if she was heavy..that's nuts..so sad. For all involved..

I don't believe the babies father is there. It sounds like he is still (and will probably always will be) extremely upset. It was sad listening to all those witnesses, and not one (besides the murderer) mentioned the babies.

And my gosh - I wish she would stop smiling. Then again, it probably won't be for long. Life can't be easy in the pen.
