I agree on the question, as to why it took so long to search the home. I live in this area, and there is too little information given to assist in public assistance. There are many questions, such as the husbands demeanor the days before, the day of occurrence, and day(s)/time leading to husband's suicide. The suicide, in my opinion, displays serious emotional break after her disappearance, which tells me, he did a little more than just kill her. I think he may have physically assisted in disposition of the body, and depending on the time he had, he placed her in either different locations, or in one of the many water wells, now covered in that local area, or not far to a nice hunting spot, known to be frequented by the local coyotes of that area. Plus, the area has many metal barrels and abandoned cars. The dismemberment would have sent him into mental overload. Would like more information and discussion. Serious sympathies for both families.
